  2. Hey all, Just wondering very quickly, would a Greddy ProfecB Spec 1 work with a twin-turbo setup such in a GTR or TT Supra? I'm pretty sure the ProfecB2 works and from what I can see from the installation diagrams between the Spec 1 and 2 they're very familiar. So could anybody please confirm for me? Thanks, Andy

  4. Also guys, whats the difference between the normal RB25 and RB25NEO engines in teh GTTs? How can you tell if a specific car has the neo engine?
  5. Hi there all, I'm looking to buy an R34 GT-T in the next couple weeks and just wondering if there any differences between the year models? I believe they range from 1998 to 2001? Also, are there any specific things I should look out for? I.e. any known common problems regarding the gearbox or engine etc.?   6. Hey all got a set of piping I need to sell. They are two different sets but together make up one set. Mods needed to fit this kit: - reposition radiator overflow bottle - reposition/mod washer bottle - rotate/mod hot pipe off turbo - tow hook DOES NOT need to be removed (i.e. KEEP the TOWHOOK) Thats all that should be needed and perhaps just abit of fiddling here and there to suit whatever cooler you get. Intake side piping (silver piping) is 3" and as you can see if fair bit shorter then hyrbid kits and sits above the tow hook at the bottom. Turbo side (blue piping) is 2.5" and is cut just abit short, where there red line is marked - rotate the stock hot pipe and perhaps cut off abit of the piping and it should join easily. I'm after $180 ono for the piping (piping only, no clamps or joiners) and am located in Liverpool, NSW. Prefer pickup but could probably post if needed - guessing around $30. PM or call 0403578014. The car has never been mistreated in my hands and I've taken care of it with the utmost care with steps taken as always being serviced with Castrol R 10W60 (recently changed to Mobil 1 Gold) oil regularly and on start up has always had a 1-2 minute warm up while keeping revs under 3000rpm until oil temp reaches 80-90 degrees. Other things that have been done in order to maintain a well kept and function car include replace the distributor cap and rotor button as well ultrasonically cleaning the injectors and had them flowtested to be working 100% as they should be, changing gearbox/transfercase/diff oils as well as many other things. The interior of the car is in excellent condition with no wear marks, ciggarette burns etc. on the seats. The car has never been pushed when the car has not been warmed up properly, and has spent the majority of its life on 10-11psi. The car has been modded in a way that I found to be safe and reliable, hence the brakes, fuel pump, clutch bracket, butterly valve etc. Those who have sat in my car know that I drive the car like any other normal car and hardly ever push it when driving normally or when not needed. I religously baby my gearbox with slow and fluid gear changes along with little things like always putting it into 2nd before 1st. Anyhow the car has been called by a few people as one of the nicest GTIR examples out there and I'm willing to back that up with any test drives/inspections needed.   9. Hey all, I've had my FMIC kit for a very long time but have never gotten around to installing it. Since my Uni semester is starting soon I'm going to need money for text books and over time I've become more and more happy with the way my car is now, and as such I've decided to sell my kit. It consist of 2 seperate sets incomplete piping for the GTIR, together they will be enough for one whole kit with abit spare left over, I was planning to use the remaining left over to make a new intake pipe from the AFM/POD to the turbo. Both sets are custom sets so they take the shortest possible route, all you need is to know how to do basic welding or someone who does and you're set. The core itself is a K&J tube & fin designed unit and should be quite exceptional when it comes to performance, the actual design of the end tanks and fins itself very much ressembles my friends TRUST VSPL fmic. It measures approximately 620x280x75mm (measured to fill up the GTIR front bar gap perfectly). I'm asking $480 ono for the whole kit which is what I find pretty reasonable in comparison to the $550+ kits on eBay which consisit of a copy Hybrid cooler and longer piping that goes around the battery tray. Also willing to seperate the FMIC by itself for $300. Also have a Genuine B&M Oil Cooler thermostat for sale which can be used with the any Oilcooler kits. Must have as you don't want your oil to be running constantly cold and want your oil cooler to keep the temps at the optimal operating temps of 85-90degrees. Asking $100 for this.   19. Hey all, Recently upgraded to a 4-channel amp so my trusty Power Acoustik amp is now for sale. Its been running my front Fusion Powerplant splits with no problems and previously was running my Alpine TypeS subs without a hitch so its definately got abit of punch in it. Power Acoustik make awesome amps and they are apparently usually have underrated power ratings too. Model number is PAT-275 but I couldn't find much info about it but the specs are: - 2x75WRMS - Bridgeable (1x160-170WRMS?) - High Pass Filter - Low Pass Filter - Full mode - Line input (RCA) - Line output (RCA) - Bass boost Will be happy with $140 or near offer for this amp.   20. Yo people selling set of tyres! They come in pairs and are: Goodyear Eagle F1s = 60-70% tread which will probably last 2-3 months on the road. Excellent performance in the dry and they're even better in the wet. After $120 for this pair. Pirelli P-Zeros = Pretty much almost on the wear indicators so I wouldn't use them on the road. Enough tread to go for an i track day or drift day, and you should all know these perform. After $60 for this pair. Or buy all 4 for $150.
