  1. As many others have said I'd go about getting the rest of the exhaust done first. Then think of going FMIC and Piggyback instead of the fuel cut defender. $3000 does sound abit dear depending on what intercooler and boost controller, but you can get a nice Turbotech from Mark for $35 delivered and FMIC kits (core + piping) for around the $600 mark.
  2. Got 2x 16" tyres for sale, they are Firestone Firehawk 690 Series. Have 80% tread left and are 205/50/R16. Want $120 for the pair and may throw in another 2x 16" tyres that aren't worn down to the last of tread that can be used for burnouts or drifting tyres. Pickup from Penrith/Richmond. Call 0403578014 or PM me. Andy
  3. Wait, so is this for a Pulsar RNN14 GTiR or for a Skyline GTR? Location buddy?
  4. You wouldn't happen to have a spare set or pair of 205/40/R16 or 205/45/R16?
  5. I've already purchased the kits myself so I'm no longer needed for the group buy.
  6. So the HDi ones you have are like the Hybrid ones? Will they suit a 450x300x75 intercooler? I don't want to use a 600x300x75 because I believe most of it is surface area isn't being used efficiently and its just a waste.
  7. If they are all working as you say I'll take them mate. I'll take you up on that demo too. Email being sent.
  8. Don't people place the bov right after the throttle body because thats the ideal spot? Although this would mean its clearly in vision.
  9. Hey I noticed on the site you've got an intercooler on a GTiR on your site. Did you use this piping kit to fit it to that GTiR? Is moving the washer bottle and removing tow hook cover necessary for these kits? Any how-to-guides I can have a look at? Thanks, Andy
  10. Thanks for that SK. Just needed to make sure. Although I do have another question for you. Ok so from that post and from my ECU pinout here: http://www.gti-r.com/Reference/EcuPinouts.gif To install the DFA I connect the green wire (input) to pinout 16 and the black wire (output) to pinout 17? To install the iEBC I connect the green wire (input) to pinout 101 and the black wire (output) to pinout 111? And when I say connect I suppose splicing the original ECU wires and soldering on another wire right? Oh and where are the 12+ and 12- wires? I can't seem to find it on that ECU pinout diagram. Thanks, Andy
  11. So if I tune the DFA for 16psi I won't have any dramas when I run the boost setting for 12psi?
  12. Ok not sure if its been asked before as I haven't had the time to go through 20 pages so I'll ask anyway. If I was to get both the iEBC and DFA and install them, set the 2 maps from the iEBC for 12psi and 16psi and then tune the DFA for 16psi; How would the car then run on 12psi as the DFA is set for 16psi? Will there be any problems with AFR's etc? Thanks, Andy
  13. Yes I understand this, which is why I asked in regards to a BRAND NEW car. You'd think that car manufactures would make sure the cars they are selling brand new would comply with emission standards. Thus if the magic cat was truly up to emissions standards then when fitted on a new car it shoudln't have a problem passing right?
  14. That facts page: I posted a question regarding whether or not his cats will pass the emissions test if put on a brand new car. Hasn't replied yet although he has replied to his other thread.
  15. Bump. No results as of yet?
  16. I've been wondering about this question too. Except I with to get the Jaycar iEBC and DFA which are essentially the same in function as the Profec B and SAFC. I asked a person who was organising the buy for these units and he said that if I was to tune the DFA for 16psi it'll work properly for 12psi although he didn't elaborate any further than that. Perhaps someone else can answer more specifically?
  17. Still on guys, anybody interested? We definately need the numbers.
  18. Shan can you possibly do this soon please? I know you're a busy man and you're helping us out (and I do appreciate it) but its just I would like it before the kits completed, in and tuned before the end of the holidays as I don't have much time left. Thanks mate, Andy
  19. PM me with bank details, just got paid. Will take one tube.
  20. Wait next week meaning this week? If so hell yes! Making money now so I'd definately like to see results as I'm wanting to get my exhaust done in next week or so.
  21. Yay! Shan's back into it! Still wanting the iEBC, DFA, HC and cable mate.
  22. Haha I've changed my mind and I'm in for both the DFA and IEBC, Hand Controller and Cable to 2749. Group buy still on? Please say yes.... Oh and I might be adding anotehr DFA, Hand Controller and Cable as well. Get abck to you on that one.
  23. Haha I meant are you willing to sell me one tube for $13.92? Reason being thats exactly what I've only got left in my account. Don't get payed until next thursday and don't really feel like going out to the bank just to deposit $1.08 LOL.
  24. Hmm wasn't on anyones side before but I'm sort of leading towards Michael's claims being true. Quoted from Magic Performance themselves: "The RTA does the testing for the EPA in NSW. They told us they do not defect or fine you if you fail. If you do get defected by the EPA you have to send the test results to the EPA to clear the defect. Although Magic Catalytic Converters are manufactured to the highest standards there are many reasons why a modified motor may fail an emissions test. Nearly every modification you make takes the vehicle further from passing the test. It is unrealistic to expect any catalytic converter to fix all the problems you may have created. Also the emission standards required have changed many times over the last twenty years so it depends on the age of the vehicle which standard is required." http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...showtopic=99539 He seems abit reluctant to claim whether I'll pass emissions with the Magic Cat or not. But I may just be over-speculating.
