  1. Gees these spoilers are popular!! Price drop to $50.00
  2. Guys, I tried selling this on ebay and after some wanker bidded on it and won he never contacted me. I have a white nissan spoiler. The small one with a brake light that works. It is a genuine nissan part. Excellent condition. Reason for sale- Brought a bigger one If you want stealth look or need this to get compliance on a skyline coming over with an aftermarket spoiler without a brake light than this is the one for you! $70 ono! Prefer Melb pick up (due to the size) Pictures on request Cheers Jevan
  3. I'll offer you $300 for the cooler and pick it up on the weekend. PM me if you are keen......
  4. Optimax causes my car to misfire as well. BP is a much better fuel.
  5. Free plug- The S15 wheels bolt directly onto the R33 and look 10 times better than the standard skyline rims. I have them on my car and they look much better. With new tyres its an awsome deal
  6. Done. PM me with the swap plus cash
  7. Rev210 you are a wise man. Believe me if the dyno shows a lack of fuel there will be a Mack truck fuel pump in the car the very same day. The last thing I want is to be in the WANTED section of the forum asking for an RB25DET. The battery idea is a good one. I have the factory battery fitted and that is now having its ninth birthday this year. I know the plugs are a rip off but I get work to pay for all repairs (tax payer dollars, sorry guys!!) so I just thought I'd get the ones suggested in the shop's spark plug book
  8. The car is manual. New platnum plugs ($22.00 each at trade price!). Fuel system is standard but I'm not looking at running 1 bar + at this point . I want to have it tuned for street use at around 12-14psi so I didn't think that would matter. The boys at TVE did put it on the dyno originally after the turbo was put back in but they said the plugs were on the way out and the oil needed changing so they didn't bother adjusting boost over standard. I changed the oil (mobile 1), filter and plugs the very next day. I have booked a dyno tune Thursday morning but as you all know it's much better walking in with a fair idea of whats happening so they don't spin shit and charge me a fortune when they don't have to. I'm amazed to see such a high level of knowledge and apprieciate everybody's input. Thankyou all
  9. Mods are pretty basic- Air pod, 3" front pipe and cat back exhaust, boost controller, new turbo
  10. Guys I'm going crazy!! I just paid for a highflowed RB turbo and after picking up my car from the shop that did all the work late last week I'm still not happy!! The work they have done seems to be fine however when I picked up the car the owner of the shop said that they had run the car on the dyno and the spark plugs appeared to be F$%^-ed so they could not tune the car over standard boost. So the very next day I went to Bursons and picked up 6 new plugs and gapped them to 0.8 and fitted them. I then set the boost to around 8-9psi which should be fine however I appear to still get detenation around this boost level. (The feeling of misfiring at high rpm when I give the car throttle) IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!! Any ideas what is causing this? I have searched the forum and in the past the answer to this question is regapping the plugs however I have done this and the problem continues!!!
  11. The turbos for the R33 and R34 bolt on exactly the same. I assume they have exact power comparisons. After my turbo blew I was looking at a rebuild but after alot of frigging around I just brought an R34 turbo yesterday and I get the car from the performance shop today. I will post in the next few days with any differences (if any) I notice with the new turbo and hopefully some dyno sheets to compare
  12. There is a guy in Melbourne that owns a performance shop and you can get a 3" straight bolt on dump pipe for the R33 for $170. I have one and it's great. His number is 0401037947 and his name is Trevor. Top bloke
  13. I was running 7-8 pound of boost off the stock turbo but after chatting to Mike (owner of the shop) he said I could safely run around 14 PSI after the highflow and more with engine management.
  14. If you want to talk air fuel computers and have a guy that knows the skyline scene back-to-front call Mike at True Vehicle Enhancements on 93805082. Great guy and excellent prices. He is highflowing my turbo at the moment so the next step for me will be AFC of PowerFC. Oh thats if you live in Melbourne
  15. Well guys considering the turbo is practically brand new (whoever owned the r34 must have driven it like a grandma) I thought it was a reasonable offer. I have had three offers around the $900 mark so I guess it should be gone by the end of the day
  16. I have an R34 turbo from a wrecked car that has travelled only 19,000km. In perfect condition with no shaft play. Perfect upgrade for an R32. Prefer Melb buyer as they can see what they are getting before they hand over cash. $1100 Turbo looks brand new. -I brought the turbo for my R33 but my mechanic convinced me to highflow the existing turbo so I have this spare one at home
  17. Well he is being really quiet on the price but his initial estimate was around the $1000-$1500 back on car and tyno tuned. I just called a friend of mine that has a near brand new R34 turbo (19,000km) for $800. Is this turbo any better than my R33 or will it f&^% up as well?
  18. He isn't selling a full engine management system. Just the air/fuel computer. I understand that Apexi have a fantastic rep world wide for delivering quality parts however with such market power it is nice to see someone else marking essentually the same thing just cheaper
  19. I was told at least a week. not happy about that but i guess I'll have to wait or else drive around a NA skyline which I did on the weekend. Not much fun being beaten by Magnas and corollas
  20. I spoke to the owner of the performance shop it is in this morning and he will by titainium shafts and rebuild and highflow the turbo by around a thousand. He reckons this is the best way to go as the turbo will hold alot more boost and spool about 300rpm quicker than standard. I hate spending money on getter the car back to the way it was so I would rather spend a little more and make it quicker. Oh, he is also trialing a new American air/fuel computer that he believes works as good if not better than the Apexi AFC and he said it takes only 30 minutes to install and is considerably cheaper so if you are interested I should send some business his way so he looks after me
  21. Thanks Warren, I think I'll swap it for that nice blue R32 you have at this rate!! Well its official I'm on the look out for a turbo to bolt STRAIGHT on without modification. Anyone know how much it costs to rebuild as a highflowed turbo???
