Late Friday night I was giving my skyline a run down the Calder Freeway in Melbourne after a bunch of young guys in a VT Clubsport started throwing shit at my car from their ride and after this heated exchange of on the freeway I came to a stop at the lights near my house. 1st gear change into second and 'BOOOOM!!!" turbo exploded!! I have the car at TVP Performance today in Carlton and they said the shaft has broken. Do you think I need a new turbo or is there a viable option of repair?? This is not what I need right now as I have just put a deposit for an overseas holiday. If anyone has a spare RB25 Turbo lying around let me know!

Has anyone ever seen an R33 GTS-T with R34 lights on the back????? I wonder if the tail-light panels are interchangable? I ask, as I have a seller telling me he has seen plenty of conversions in NZ. A search of this forum failed to come up with any response?? If anyone has done this or at least seen it done let me know. It might give the R33 a strange and unique look.

R33 Standard Rims $120 Melbourne
QuickR33Melb replied to QuickR33Melb's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
The rims and tyres will be available from tonight. (get them back from the shop fitting my other wheels) As earlier stated "Two of the Rims are in great condition with the other two with gutter scaps etc. Two tyres have 75% tread and the other two have aboiut 30% tread." Still no offer set in stone. $120 still stands -
R33 Standard Rims $120 Melbourne

Sorry guys I should have told you where a live. North Fitzroy (near the CBD) I also head out toward the Taylor's Lakes to see my girlfriend regularly so I could even drop them off if anyone lives out that way. PS My girlfriend is not included in the $120.00. -
Just purchased a set of rims for my 1995 R33 GTS-T. I now have the standard rims with tyres which I will set for $120 for everything if anyone is keen. Two of the Rims are in great condition with the other two with gutter scaps etc Two tyres have 75% tread and the other two have aboiut 30% tread. Anyway $120 is pretty cheap and I would like to see a potential buyer down at Calder Park doing burn outs till the tyres explode but I'd be happy if the owner just wants them for day-to-day use. I'm in Melbourne so I would prefer pick up Cheers

I was thinking of getting a set of S15 rims for track days etc etc. Now I'm no genius when it comes to offsets and I was thinking of getting some Nissan S15 rims. I have been told by the seller they have an offset of +45 with 5 studs. Now for the smarter people that know their wheels will this fit a 1995 GTS-T ???? I have already done a thread search and I'm still not sure. If anyone knows I will by them a R34 GTR if I ever win the Lotto!!

Loud Rattle from Engine! Help Needed
QuickR33Melb replied to QuickR33Melb's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I just had the mechanic check the car before work this morning and one of the bolts that goes into the head is missing (it must have come lose and gone). The noise is the exhaust gas escaping from the head and rattling passed the gasket. He reckons it will take him 5 hours, replace all the bolts and gasket and cost me $600. My normal mechanic has moved away and this seems a little steep. Tell me what you think -
Loud Rattle from Engine! Help Needed
QuickR33Melb replied to QuickR33Melb's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The car is at 70,000km. If it is the timing belt why is the car running well?? -
Hello Over the last day or two I have noticed a very load rattle that sounds like it's coming from the front end of my engine. The noise only occurs when I apply throttle or when I start the engine cold and its idling around 1000rpm. its a very load 'tick, tick, tick' sound. As I apply more throttle the noise gets louder. There is however no performance problems and the car still runs great and idles steady. It just sounds like shit when I put the foot on the accelerator. I'm taking it to be looked at tomorrow but if I have an idea about whats wrong it might save the mechanic sratching his head for an hour. Anyway some advice would be fantastic

I have the standard BOV. In Melbourne though

Why don't you connect a sparker from a hot water system to it as well and get a nice flame going?? That will keep anyone from touching car at shows

Which exhaust should I choose for my R33 GTSt?
QuickR33Melb replied to Burns's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I went a bit left field and like you I didn't want the normal cannon muffler that most imports seem to have. I got an aftermarket muffler usually fitted to BMW's with a single flow 3" twin pipe look for $400 second hand (only for the muffler) It looks like a bigger version of the stock skyline muffler. Not to loud but it has fantastic flow. If I were you try and get a muffler that looks stockish -

I have a mate that sold his for a thousand with tyres about 70-80%. I'd pay that however I'm down in Melbourne. -
I am looking high and low for a set of 17" or 18"s to fit my 1995 skyline. I have no real preference other than they look nice and come with tyres (not necessarily new either) So if anyone is thinking of upgrading or changing send me a PM with pics and I will have a look.
