Skyline R34 GTT Turbo for sale
QuickR33Melb replied to alarmguy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Yeah I'll vouch for them fitting a 32. -
I popped down to Chasers Tuning out near Nrth Melbourne and gees was there some hot cars there!! I got some quotes for front mount piping ($800 fitted) and the owner Benny who is the nicest bloke I have met in a long time and he had a chat to me for over an hour. He showed me this beautiful red twin turbo Supra that had just come in and told me the owner had paid 50k for the engine to be worked over to milk out a min 680hp at the rear treads. There was a drift R32 being prepped there which was getting a worked RB25DET installed and a drift 180sx that he told me had a cool 56k in modifications. He also told me a new project that he was about to start work on for an R34 GTR to break the skyline land speed record. He said this car would smash the dyno record for a GTR. The other more alarming aspect of my visit was when Benny was looking at my car and said "Hey this is Matty Pyman's old R32, last time I saw this it had a shitload of electrical issues and needed a new engine loom" Anyway I'm hoping these problems were fixed!! Does anyone know the symptoms to tell if your loom is f*cked! The moral to this post is that if you want a professional highly enthusistic team to work on your car head down to Chasers! I have been to heaps of performance places over the years and most of them are really tight about letting you into the shop. Benny will talk your ear off for hours and get as excited as a convict in a brothel. I have been told he used to test drive F1 cars and Nascars in Japan and has performance cars flowing through his blood

QuickR33Melb replied to XZLA.8's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I'll give you $350 for the turbo if your interested -
Sorry xRHETTx- Maroon! I might have 5 years of uni under my belt but I can't even spell to save myself! Craig- I would have thought that the maroon colour was standard for all the nissan R32's? I will get the VIN number when I get home tonight.
-
Oh this has been done to death. The simple explaination is that while it is possible it costs alot of money and even then you wont have the reliability of a factory turbo. If you have the cash to do the conversion why not buy the turbo model??? I guess you need to learn by making the mistakes yourself. All the suff under the parcel shelf is a fuse box HICAS 4WS system and in the R33 a battery
-
Yes I connected the hose near thew ash tray again and I will go for a drive tonight to see if it works. I got held up with family last night till late so I didn't have a chance to go for a long enough drive needed for the bastard to heat up!

In the media again! Street racer ploughs into crowd By Josh Massoud and Gemma Jones 07feb05 AN angry mob of drag racers turned on police after an illegal street racer careered into a crowd of spectators in Sydney last night. Up to 30 people lay injured on the road and footpath as punches were thrown and officers shoved. Dozens of police raced to the scene in South Strathfield to help bring the 50-strong crowd under control. One of the first officers to arrive at the scene radioed for urgent back up, telling the radio operator: "The crowd has turned on us." Two police officers were injured and two rioters were arrested. Officers held back the spectators as dozens of injured were being treated. One man, standing between the parked car and another vehicle was crushed. Bystanders dragged the vehicles apart to free him and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A spectator had his foot badly broken and another had a bone protruding from his arm. The drama began about midnight after a P-plate driver took off down Madeline St, heading west, in a Datsun 1600 for the first illegal run of the night. He lost control of his car, slamming into a parked vehicle and sending it spearing into the spectators. The crowd turned ugly after the media turned up, forcing police to step in and protect them. A police spokesman said 30 people were injured, several seriously. The fight began as the crowd turned on media crews, including The Daily Telegraph and a Channel 9 news crew, who had arrived to cover the accident. The melee continued early this morning outside St George hospital as the injured arrived in ambulances for treatment. Police have been cracking down on illegal street races, which have claimed two lives in the past six weeks. A young couple killed in a horror smash in Revesby six weeks ago are believed to have been involved in a high speed race down Milperra Rd. Robert Peov, 21 and his fiance Joanne Mourani, 20 were killed on December 20 when his green Nissan GT-R Skyline crashed. Police said witnesses saw a silver car speeding from the scene just after the young couple's car, which was being driven by green p-plate driver Robert, slammed into a power pole and was torn in two. Mr Peov's brother Chinda was in the back seat and suffered serious injuries. A week ago, police raided a notorious drag racing strip in an industrial area at Macquarie Fields. Over Thursday and Friday night the police caught two 19-year-old p-plate drivers speeding as they raced other cars. Both had their licences suspended and will appear in court for dangerous driving.

T3/T4e turbo for sale
QuickR33Melb replied to EVL032's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Did this come from an R32? I am very interested so get back to me if it hasn't already sold -
That might explain it inark cos I put in the head unit late last night and I may well have not connected the little tube that monitors the heat.. Oh the value of this forum..
-
Thanks inark I'll give that a shot, I'll let you know how I go tomoz!!
-
I''m not sure?? All my AC setup looks fine but doesn't work. The other thing it does is heat up the area around the head unit and clutch which can't be doing the wiring any favours as it gets so hot!! I might take it to a friend of mine that is a automative engineer to see what he thinks.. Will post it here if I find the solution. Robin- The windows down option is all good unless your sitting in traffic! At the moment I have an R32-Sauna Spec!!!

Hey guys, As some of you may have read I purchased my second skyline last week which was a 1992 R32. The car is fantastic but I have two small gremlins that I was wondering if you guys could shed some light on for me: 1) The car is the skyline red moron colour- I need a small amount of touch up paint and the tag in the engine bay with the colour code is so faded I can't read it- Does anyone know the colour code for this paint???? 2) The other most annoying thing is the heat factor! My climate control seems to pump out 32 degree head around my feet even when the climate control is off or at 18 degrees. Luckily it's been bloody cold the last few days so I haven't minded too much however it will be annoying to say the least when the mercury rises again! 3) Also chasing a good place to do front mount piping in the North side of the city. Look forward to catching up with you all at the next cruise and if you can help me kill these gremlins in the R32 I will love you all forever- (in a non-sexual way) Jev

I'm interested in one??? -
That is such a good price given the condition and mods

I suggest: -You post on every forum you can, wrx, nissansilvia. -Buy the next issue of the Trading Post and look for skyline parts for sale, wheels etc. -Contact VicRoads with photos and exact details as they my try and rebirth and re-register the car. -Look around your area. If they were staking your car out they must live close by. -Let all the workshops in the immediate area know as they may try and get a roadworthy if they are rebirthing it. This should be easy as there willonly be 10 shops that do RWC in the sorrounding suburbs.

I cheated but I promise not to do it again!

Thanks guys- Yeah I know Mark from Technic, great guys especially for Apexi SAFC tuning but big dollars and long waits for work to be done! or so I have heard. There was a fair bit of audio equipment that came with the car like a new Kenwood sub, 6x9's and amp that I don't need. Check out the "For Sale Section" if your interested because I'm unloading it all dirt cheap. Still in the boxes but I pulled my system out of the R33 when I sold it and I don't need all this other stuff. -
I have the following from a new car that I have purchased that I do not want. Brand new (in the box) Kenwood 6x9's -$90 Kenwood 500w 4-3-2 Channel amp (used but in perfect condition)- $100 Kenwood 10' Subwoofer in box ready to connect to amp- $120 (brand new never used) Whole package deal of $300 In Melbourne (Ascot Vale) area- Prefer local pick up. First in best dressed. Jevan PS- for the quickest response email me at: [email protected]

Boys and girls, I sold my R33 about six months ago to raise some funds for an apartment I have since purchased. I brought a cheaper car (liberty RS turbo) for 8.5k and whilst it was a fast reliable little unit I got so much shit from everyone including my girlfriend that I slowly started to resent the fact that I ever brought it. "Grandad's car with a turbo" was the most common (and hurtful) comment I heard. Anyway I found a liberty nut that wanted the car so badly that he offered my 11k without a RWC which was 2.5k more than I paid for the car in the first place. At the same time I found an R32 M-Spec owner that was guiniunely going to live overseas and not just saying it to attract more buyers. With these two events happening simultainously I managed to sell the Libery and by the R32 for a bargain price of 11k with plenty of mods and in unbelievable condition. So the moral of the story is that if you ever think about selling your car to raise funds for something and buying another run-about car look at all other options because theres nothing more painful than handing over the keys to some happy new purchaser. PS- The R32 came with a massive front mount that is yet to be fitted so if you know a place in Melb that does piping then let me know.
-
Well I've seen a few R34 interiors for sale. Front seats and rear for around the $800 mark. As for the engine the price will vary with the inclusion (or exclusion) of loom, turbo, manifold etc. Gearbox around the 1k mark

If you are pulled over the police you will be asked question like "why are you speeding in this 60km zone?" or "Do you know how fast you were travelling?" Your natural reponse to the question would be "Sorry Officer I didn't realise I was speeding" or "I was a little over 65kmh" or "I was in a hurry to pick up my girlfriend" etc etc. By answering this question you are admitting guilt and if you fight it in court they will repeat your answer to this question. The best thing to do is say nothing or say "I believe I was travelling 60kmh" You also have the right to view the speed camera in their car. In fact they have to invite you to view it. Out of 2 speeding fines that I have had over 4 years only one has invited me back to the patrol car to view my recorded speed. You should also request the officers names and write them down even if they are polite. This will keep them from being arse holes as complaints about police officers sit on their permanent record. There you go! Some advice from the Lawyers at my work. Dept Education- You have just got some valuable advice for all of the tax dollars you guys give us!

Hi guys, I have an opportunity to buy a very nice R32 and I miss the rear wheel drive nissans. I brought this RS from the Developer of Bunnings Wharehouses about 6 months ago and have recepts for more than 20k in mods and maintence. It was looked after (and still is) like the virgin Mary. Any inspection will impress. The RS has the following: EJ20T engine- (same as rex) Upgraded turbo to an Sti Spec Completly rebuilt engine 23 months ago Sti clutch- fitted 12 months ago Liberty twin turbo gearbox Computer upgraded with VOS chip K&N pod filter with custom cold air intake-Shortened custom intake pipe to remove air snorkle Full 3" mandrell bend exhaust from turbo back (also custom pipes from engine manifold) 27 inches of resators keeps this under 90db cost $2000. Upgraded fuel pump 'water-to-air' intercooler setup Adjustable suspension Whiteline sway bars Koni shocks Lowered springs 17" Viper rims with low profile tyres Immaculate white paint Tinted windows Boost gauge Momo accessories CD palyer with new speakers Extremely clean quick and reliable. All options and electrics, cruise control etc etc. The car shows 300+ km from the previous driver going all over the State for work (8 years worth) but almost every upgrade and replacement is less than 2 years old. The car drives better than they day it rolled off the factory floor in Japan. New water pump, radiator, all hoses etc The list goes on but it would probably better to have a look. The car is an animal and is considerably quicker than my old R33. I'll need to get some shots of the car and send them to you. No pictures as of yet but inspections are Welcome. I am in Ascot Vale in Melb but I'm often in all parts of Melb driving around. 0413689302 Cheers, Jevan
