  1. Thanks boys I'll disconnect the fuse tonight. Does anyone know if its written in english on the fuse box?
  2. Its terrible. I had this poor bastard in front of me last night waiting to merge into a busy lane of traffic and I had the horn going nuts behind him. I tried to park at the gym last night and it started when I turned left into the car park whlist there were 10 people standing around.
  3. I just got back from a couple of weeks in Bali and unlocked my car for the first time in 14 days and went for a spin on Sunday. The car felt great except for one major problem. The bloody horn sounds every time I turn the wheel half way around either to the left or right. As you can imagine this is a major problem and last night as I turned a corner near my house I got pulled over by the police for sounding my horn for no reason. Luckily for me the two cops were fantastic and after a brief demo they were in stitches of laughter at my prediciment. The three of us searched around the engine bay for the horn but we couldn't find it. (For once in my life these cops were nice) Anyway I have the air bag model R33 GTST and the Constable named Chad told me not to play with the steering wheel as he reckons he has been called out to heaps of accidents with airbags causing broken noses etc. Have any of you heared of this problem? Can someone tell me where the horn is in the engine bay. I will need to de-activate it until the weekend when I can take it to an auto elect
  4. Boys, On Monday myself and a good mate of mine are heading over to sunny Bali for a couple of weeks to enjoy the sun, surf and fine wines. I haven't been there since before the bombings so it should be interesting to see how the place has changed. Anyone want any fake shit? Anyone been there since the bombings? And better yet will any of you guys be over between the 12-24th of July???
  5. I've had terrible trouble with Turbo Smart BOV's. They sound nice but make the car stall which can be embarressing when your trying to park at a busy shopping centre or the like
  6. Same thing happens to me especially with a new H/duty clutch as it does not "pop" out anymore. Agree with the boys above. Less throttle or After Market computer
  7. Boys I watched your little 4 min clip. Looks nice but has the story line of a bad 70's porno and a music that I haven't heared since I was back in year 7. Plus if your trying to entice some skyline owners you could show more footage of our cars. There was way too much riced up Lancers and was that a modded up Corrola??? What the..... Someones mum will be pissed off when she wants her car back come Monday morning. Also on your earlier comment on a quarter of a million dollar S15 being there.. I find that remerkable unless the Government has decided to melt their gold bullion into Jap cars and someone nicked it out of the Treasury Vaults
  8. I know 25-30k for a car that has been raped and pilidged for 15 years seems like an awful lot of money. I'm looking at buying a house in Fitzroy North that needs a lot of work and hpefully work from the following equation Shit house ($330,000)+ shitload of blood sweat and tears with $80,000 in reno costs=$450-500,000 selling price in 12 months. or $30,000 to $80,000 dollar profit= Very nice GTR
  9. BTW here is the property I'm looking at. http://www.woodards.com.au/auction.html 15 Woodhead Street It's a dump I know but nice inner city location and heaps of potential. SAU parties every night. Buy my car and get a free drink.... lol
  10. Car remains for sale, Ocean took it for a spin on the weekend and I believe he was more than impressed---
  11. Someone buy this car so he can buy my line.... I need to move it
  12. You live around the hillside area. My girlfriend lives out there and I'm around there all the time. plenty of lines so lots of suspects. Also does anyone know who owns a Silver R33 with the plates INCTRL (In Control??) cos I saw them entering the freeway near the maccas there (I know I should post this in the SPOTTED section)
  13. call any subbie dealer and ask where the WRX dynos in your area are. Bluebird hey. They are the biggest sleepers of all time with a SR20DET engine in them. All you need is a T28 for $500 and the thing will be awsome. I saw a blue one recently at JPC workshop with a massive front mount and other than that it looked like a normal family car
  14. It may have made more damage but you should have let the little *****rs jump ontop of your car and then done a 6 grand launch and see if any of them can fly.. anyway my 2 cents. ALternatively mounting a 50 cal mini gun on your roof with 5000 rounds is yet another option
  15. Steven, Post the address of the guys who did it to you. I have friends that will burn his house down for fun. Now thats Karma
  16. This is my old car and I will vouch for the last 3 years of services history.
  17. I'll make an offer of 12k. Are you after a skyline for your next car?
  18. If your 20 you might find some cops that dont rate you driving it on P's
  19. Very Wisely spoken words Shan, your 100% correct and my observation was based purely on having alook at a few other forums and noticing this aspect as the main difference between SAU and the majority is all. "On here street dragging is like your sexlife, everyone knows you do it, but no one needs to know how or when you do it or with who" Maybe we can exchange stories along these lines as a substitute. But again the guys at Vic Roads and the EPA would probably jump on the forum more and more!! To make up for their lack of experience in this area
  20. After being a member now for quite some time I find it interesting that the SAU has no street stories area and is against any subject that touches on the ‘power on the streets’ topic. I know more than anyone the dangers of street racing with two of my best friends in hospital after racing on the streets (yes I know they are dick heads and no I wasn’t in the car) however I find it amusing that many of us talk about having 200-300rwkw+ power figures and I would be surprised if any of us haven’t ever put a group of morons that roll up next to us to shame in a VT clubby or the like. I’m not interested in people posting stuff like “I hit 200km/h then the highway patrol GTS came out and couldn’t keep up” kind of thing, just the amusing little things that happen on those daily drives that would bring a smile to those that read the thread. In NO WAY am I condoning illegal street racing or drags but rather wondering why any topic at all about putting the boost gauge over ‘0’ on the streets is so strongly ridiculed by us, the owners of some of the most powerful street cars in Australia. My 2 cents anyway. What are yours…
  21. Sounds like you wont get compience to me. Under the new laws the only cars (unless you get an old school 89 model) you can get compied are stock examples
  22. Ive had problems similar and it was detonation. Clean coils, plugs and see if this helps. I had the same problem at about 5000rpm right before I lost my turbo (on standard boost no less) . Funnily enough the car drove like an NA skyline when I blew the turbo to shreds and I drove it around for a week while I sourced parts. Anyway not to go off on a tangent, take it to a dyno facility. Its so cheap and is honestly the best way to work out whats going on. If you are running lean or have spark problems a $50-80 dyno tune is alot cheaper than having a new turbo fitted or worse for $1200-2000 and it will pick up the problem no worries.
  23. Good advice Warren. Why do people keep posting to this thread saying "do this, do that" and it will restrict the power. The EPA/VicRoads/Police wont care if you remove three of your cylinders and say "Officer, its only got the power of a Suzuki Cappuccino". They wont give a shit all they care about is RB25DET FACTORY power output. They will look at there data and go "Legal or Illegal" therefore dont waste your time with an engineer or dyno. You could drop an SR20DET in there if you have a spare $5000 laying around and are prepared to lose a further $5000 when you try and sell a Skyline 6, with a 4 cylinder engine in it. In fact I wont be surprised if you have a summons to appear in court over this- The guys at my work still maintain that this is a court going offence. You were just really unlucky. I had my P's extended for 12 months after a being clocked driving to Sydney in my first year of driving (funny enough it was in a SR20DET Silvia) and have therefore had my Skyline just short of 2 years on my P's. I have been pulled over maybe 5 times in this period for various things and not once have they wanted to look at my engine nor question the power output. There is a huge inconsistancy with how police handle these situations. One person gets done while the other goes free. When we see those flashing lights behind us its a bit like going to the AFL tribunal (you never know what will happen)
  24. I'm looking at a similar one in mint condition for 12,000. For this reason I will offer you the same
