  1. A Walbro is not hard to install either, and it has less of a problem with the pick up than the Bosch...
  2. Stan, I am often in Sydney, mostly with mates for such events as the Evo Forums Wakefield track day, but I will message you should the offer still be open. Also I will have a chat to Slide via PM. Cheers Neill P.S. No one should discount this product until proven otherwise, the KKR turbo's were mocked repeatedly, now they have partly proven themselves, some keyboard mechanics should shut the f**k up
  3. I would like to see how these turbo's perfrom. Also they claim to be Garett and Biaggio combined. Which part is what??? Biaggio compressures and wheels and garret bearing core??? Also we all know you get what you pay for, and as it stands Biaggio is a large manufacturer in Spain, that supplies a considerable number of OEM manufacturers. I would like ot know what the BB version of the turbo would be both price and performance wise??? And see it compared to a comparable Garrett product!!
  4. The boys in blue comment stands, it is ONE of the reasons why they target modified cars, full stop. Hell if there was no modified cars with bodgy installs revenues would decline. The pictures say a thousand words, the summary of which relates to the picture of the whole in the subframe...
  5. Ease up... Its taken him 4 days to get it "installed" with PVC and using god knows what else to mount it... I have nothing against people giving it a go, but dodgy installs are why the boys in blue are more than happy to target import drivers... Know your abilities and stay within them... Oh and PVC melts end of story, I don't give a crap if its shiny or not, completely irrelevant. So I am not being too harsh...I think your login says it all...
  6. I think this is on every forum I have been on today...goddam I would so like to be that dude
  7. You used PVC....OMG... Please stop there and take it to someone who knows that the f**k they are doing...
  8. Does anyone know what Cam did in the Evo VIII (the black evo)???? Looks like a large turnout, and from all that went well organised!!
  9. Yes, that is what I am saying............... And thank you NIB for helping out, geezuz I am close to insanity...
  10. Quite easily as I have seen and have proof, read my other post, this really is turning into a war of the keyboard...
  11. As rob has said, if you want PROPER comparatives, the dyno's need to be in shootout and strapped down accordingly. They also need to be the same brand (though I stand behind Dyno Dynamics) as you will get varied results on different brands and obviously TYPES of dynos. You can also have variances between same brands and different age dyno's its inevitable that A DYNO IS A TUNING TOOL ONLY...but hey I know nothing Sammie and others look at your dyno sheets as a BASIS to work from...or go somewhere else and then use that. Paul spraying up that there will be a difference between 3rd and fouth gear makes me question some of the other info you so readily provide...please take this with a grain of salt, I am not here to have a keyboard war...
  12. Yes ever so slightly, but peak power will be the same... Splitting hairs it seems has become part of this forums best qualities... I actually have dyno runs back to back in third and fourth with 0.2rwkw change...with a 2 dregree inlent temp change... I am amazed at how much spray there is that gears matter sooo much...its bullshit.
  13. Nice work!!! Everyone loves the skids
  14. The gear does not matter dick, if you knew anything about dyno's you would know that. Its merely better to tune them in this gear as the ratios are closest to 1:1. Fact of the matter is a power run in 3rd will only move the graph left, ie at a lower speed... Also its amazing how many "happy" dyno's are around and how many "supurb" results happen. Sammie I would look into why your getting a low result, maybe a restriction, drop the exhaust after a run on the same dyno and compare, there may also be other factors that you can try.
  15. As a Northside person (Aspley) the traffic, WTF...there is none compared to Sydney. Sandgate is pricey becuase of location. Have a look at Boondall and the areas you have listed. You may also be lucky in Carseldine (my olds live there) or even Chermside. There are quite a few places for sale, and in the current market drop a low offer and see what happens. I am glad you saw the light and moved to the sunny land!!!
  16. welcome Alex!!! Nice car hope to see it out and about soon!!
  17. Happy bithday bro!!!!
  18. Stealth I think you have missed the point re drag cars and you have also omitted rotational mass in your calculations. You are correct re the tyres however
  19. Sure is, but my Mr Ed has a bigger Wang than yours....
  20. Tooo many ego's in here for my liking... Do the talking on the track, and that includes you Mick. I think your a nice bloke but you are definitely fuelling the fire that needs no flame.

    Welsh Plugs

Dan is correct, I am unsure about the number of plugs but there is definitely like 4 different sizes... I had the work done at Peninsula Mechanical at Clontarf...bit far for you to travel. Metro Nissan should have them all...including gaskets. The first quote seems reasonable...the second seems to be a bit more.....
  22. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, especially if its first hand experience!!! Adrian, it would be good to see all those numbers come together, however, this is drag racing and there are so many variables!!! I will continue to watch with interest. I do have to say that being around the sport since I was 5, the reasons for being in it are purely what you have states already!!!! But there is a bit of competitiveness but this is never before mateship and fun!!!! Cheers Neill
  23. Incorrect col, I have seen it quite a few times on Gympie Road and your place of work...though I am usually in a new red corolla (currently being repaired from my stupidity) But you are not normally around, and besides I am not really into computers...
  24. Nice work John, I will follow with interest!!!
  25. Nismo and most other only offer 550 or 740 direct drop in, unless you are going to change the rail... Good result though so post up a sheet!!!
