Piss easy mate; dont send them anywhere. On the front headlights, get regular car wax (mothers/meguiars/eagle ) and put a nice thick coat over the entire headlight cover. leave to dry. Buff off with clean cloth and presto! nice and shiny! My headlights on the front were all frosted/yellowish and my mate told me to try this and they came up excellent.

check the rear wheel nuts make sure they are tight - my car was doing a similar thing and it turned out the wheel nuts were loose as! always check your wheel nuts after taking your car somewhere where they take off the wheels because they dont always put them on properly!

hes a fkn jerk - period. All he does is defect people non stop, pulling over cars driving around normally. He even has a pole that he keeps with him so he can check if the car is too low. If you ask me there are far better things the police can be doing than going around defecting cars, its a total waste of police time and a revenue raising scheme. And people wonder why police response times are so crap?? its because pettiet is too busy defecting some import driver for no reason

He is just a total f*ckwit....he pulls u over for no reason then defects the crap out of you. I think its unfair to have to get the car towed home, I always thought there was a minimum of a week that they had to give you unless there was something intrinsically wrong with the car that made it unsafe - there was nothing wrong with my car that made it unsafe, sure its a bit low, blow off valve, boost controller but nothing that would be of any harm to myself or other road users. I've owned the car for just under a year and its never been 'unsafe' as Officer Dicksnap said. I'm happy to make a complaint against this turd and if anyone else wants to aswell then send me a PM.

This guy is a total f*cking wanker. He defects my car and doesn't even give me a week to drive it, i got defected at about 8:45 and he puts on the canary that the car cannot be used after 8:30pm that night so i was supposed to get it towed home....... If u ever get pulled over by this fagget dont expect anything less than a total f*ck up the arse. The worst thing is he drives a silver/grey undercover XR8 so u cant even see this ugly mug coming. Most cops are ok when they give u a canary, i mean they defect you and all but at least they give u a week to drive the car around and get it fixed, and more importantly just to get the car home, This cop goes out of his way to be a dicksnap.

Have a look around the firewall they must be there somewhere....i'd imagine they would put the heater in the same spot?!? Try unplugging some hoses and if you pull off the hose and see the yellow heater core plugs then you know u r on the right track. Perhaps have a look under the car - maybe they have mounted them lower if they aren't on the top

Ok cool well at least i've blocked off the 2 hoses so no more coolant will come in....it seems as if the excess coolant stuck in the heater has stopped coming through aswell. Yeah i'm going to buy the part and install it myself; predator has a detailed thread on how to do it......and yes it will be a real prick to do and a waste of a whole day! ok, i bypassed the heater as per predator's thread on how to bypass the heater. However there is still f*cking coolant leaking into the passenger footwell...would this be excess coolant that was stuck in the unit itself? is there any other way that coolant can get past the firewall??! i see two other metal pipes going into the firewall right near the heater hoses - are these for air cond?? should i plumb these off aswell?

Yep the heater core is leaking....****ing hell!! my car wreaks of coolant! no wonder i was getting dizzy! I checked the oil...no white shit in it but little clumps of tiny ass bubbles....not sure if this is normal. I heard you can bypass the heater by blocking off the heater pipe that goes into the firewall......i'm going to try and plumb it off somehow

ok did a few more checks. radiator had jack shit coolant in it, must of put another 2 litres into it. I got a torch and shined it above the coolant bottle, revved the engine and there were bubbles n shit but you cant see them from looking directly down the hole u have to look sideways into the back of the coolant bottle with a torch shining thru the plastic. The coolant is a browny colour aswell.....i'm guessing oil mixing with the coolant?? So at the moment i'm guessing blown/cracked head gasket......is this also the cause of my footwell leaking problem or is this the heater aswell? I checked under the passenger foot well and the liquid is coming from where the white box thingy joins onto the firewall.

I noticed a funny smell inside the car over the last 2 days......anyhows my car was filthy so i thought i'll clean it before going out friday night. I start taking out the floor mats when i notice that the passenger front mat is wet. I lifted out the mat, and the carpet underneath that was wet too. I got some white kitchen towel, and started mopping up this light green coloured liquid ( coolant i assume?!?!) anyhows i pop the bonnet, and open up the coolant bottle and the coolant is boiling hot and bubbling/steaming. My questions are - 1) what is that liquid leaking into the passenger foot well and where the hell is it coming from!! 2) why is my coolant bubbling/boiling?!?! HELP!

Damn that sucks hard, i feel for you bad. I've lost my licence for 6 months before and it really takes away your freedom. Dont make the mistake that I did - driving around your skyline on no licence. If you need to still drive stick to any non sus cars ( stock VR commo etc, magna) and drive 5 under the limit and u should be ok.

First day i bought my skyline.....pissing down rain, locker diff, totally bald tyres....cruising down the middle lane of a 3 lane road in clifton hill.....doing 70km/h.....my best mate in the car with me.... 'eyy watch this bro', dropped it back into 2nd, floored it. Before i knew what was what i was the back kicked out hard and ended up doing about 6 or 7 360's. Back of the car clipped a bus stop.

check the 2 20amp fuses in the boot for headlights.

Hey just buy a stock bov, they sell for normally 20-30 bux and they are piss easy to fit, 2 bolts and 1 hose clamp
