yeh dude, pull the cover off the bootlid, by removing the clips, just make sure u dont pull them out by pulling on the carpet, cause u might rip it, pull out the rubber grommets on the sides, undo the two nuts (10mls from memory), then the two up the top, and the wiring clip for the brake light. after that, you should be to unclip the wing from the boot , unless there are any additional screws holding the spoiler down(like i saw on my mates car)

Have a Trust oil cooler with remote oil filter, has a small leak on the tank. don't have time to fix it but am open to offers, comes with all hoses etc... have a stripped RB25DET for sale, block needs a rebuild and turbo has blown a seal, but other engine parts are ok, am open to all offers

u shouldn't really need a new sump, unless maby there is a crack around the plug which u may not have been able to see if there is oil all around the outside of the sump. If not take it to a mechanic, shouldn't charge u too much...

dunno about queensland, but down here shell seems to be pretty crap, put it in last week and car was pinging badly, gone back to bp and she's as good as gold

na dude, probes arn't all that bad, nice lookin car, go reasonably well... the only reason u don't see many around is cause they never sold well when new (way to pricy). if u do go ahead with one, find one with lo-ish kays and u should be good as gold:)

does ur car have a pod filter? if so noise is perfectly normal... if u dont and the noise is pretty loud, u might want to have a look at ur intake, see if anythin is missing...

i had a simmillar problem a while ago, my car used to run like a complete dog, regardless of boost. happened a while after i had the timing belt done, turns out they stuffed the timing up a bit and made the car run like a pig... just one possible cause...

thats definatly the problem? mine was doin the same thing... had a compression test done, turns out engine was rooted... sorry man, probably not what u want to hear

Type of Car: 1993 R33 GTS25T - RB25DET Type of failure: Damaged Rings on #3 and #6, Valves on 4 and 5, rooted turbo... Factors influencing the failure: uhhhh few things. Was running a jap tuned Mines ECU, warmish weather 16psi through stock turbo, accidently left oil cap off(idiot), and was flooring it off the toll booth through the M2 trying to race a porche, while the car was pinging off its head... State of tune of the engine: Front mount, Mines ECU (now gone), exhaust, oil cooler Suspension and tyres: Whitline coilovers, 225/40R18 front, 25540R18 rear, front and rear torsion bars Oil used and service interval: 10w 50 every 5000ks General comments: after all that, am now alot more carefull with my car, don't boost past 12psi, and only in cool weather, and have ditched that dodgy mines ecu... even on stock boost it would occasionally audibly ping. Never get a mines ecu. Ended up fitting a new motor and turbo, now car is as good as gold:)

i used to have a simmilar problem with my EBC, just check the settings. dunno if its the same for yours but my HKS EBC had a setting to allow it to overboost for a period of time , and you would set it in seconds. Set that to 0

had a drive of my mates XR6T (the one with an exhaust and boosted), they are pretty quick hey... heaps of power in every gear and no lag at all compared with my car. definatly the quickest car ive ever driven (but i havn't driven many quick cars)

yeah dude, its probably just a gasket, if it starts getting louder and louder, and u notice performance dropping slightly (although not a huge amount), ull know thats what it is...

well he referred to them as heaps of shit... i wonder how many jap cars could do the millions of kays (litteraly) that aussie cabs do? im not biased towards aussie cars or anything, i own an import, although i just think its stupid how people write them off, and most of the time they dont know what they are talking about (not saying this applies to u guys, but some people)...
