didnt get a chance to take it to the mechanic, oil dosn't look to be too bad... there is a build up of oil on the surface of the engine bay around the air filter. I pulled off the filter, there is a fair bit of oil in and around the AFM... What does this mean, what is this an indication of?

Car has an aftermarket oil temp guage, which usually sits between 80 to 90 degrees, water temp is usually pretty good. Topped the car up with two litres of oil just before and seems to be running ok, although obviously the problem isn't fixed. yeah there's deposits of oil around the engine bay where the air filter sits... will take it to a mechanic for a quick look tomorrow...

Hi all, first post... I recently bought a 1993 R33 GTS-25T Skyline. Everything seemed all good when i bought the car about 3 weeks ago, but now have run into a few problems. The car seems to be loosing Oil. the oil pressure guage seems to drop significantly whenever i give it some. I topped the oil up, ran better at first, but then came back again. There seems to be a build up of oil around the air filter. Another thing i noticed is steam comming out the oil filler cap, when i filled up... Car has a frount mount, 3 inch exhaust, remote oil filter, boost controller (usually set at around 10psi) Is my engine stuffed? Any help would be appreciated...
