Or maybe buy a nice roadie second hand? I should have been more specific when I said entry-level haha. I feel there's a few different entry-levels, and they directly correlate with how serious you are about it. But with that as an unknown, perhaps better to keep costs down? But if you're willing to drop a few hundred more (not life changing) why not haha. Or you know... hit the gym + buy a real motorbike

Don't know too much about bicycles - but funnily enough, recently looked into it (albeit pretty superficially). $600 seems steep for an entry bike - for something that you are just starting ? Although if you're sure you'll be dedicated enough to use it... or you could always sell it even if you aren't, I suppose. Or yeah ask your Asian labourer Alvin to build you one
