Hi all, been having idle problems for two years and finally found a fix the other day! I had tried all the usual things like spark plugs, cleaning iac, cleaning maf, checking for vacuum leaks and everything you could imagine. But when changing my spark plugs again last week i noticed the coilpack springs had arcing marks on them.. so while driving it around for the week after changing plugs (still with the idle problem) i decided i would clean the bottom of the springs with some 400 grit and put some dielectric grease on the bottom of the spring and top of the spark plugs. PROBLEM SOLVED! My idle is now steady and i no longer get that rich smell from my exhaust.. For anyone that is wondering, the spring is just inside the rubber coil pack boot - it just pulls straight off.

hi, i was getting under 300kms per tank as well, i now get just over 500 around town, the only things i did was put a new coolant temp sensor in (same as n15 pulsar) and i put dielectric grease on the top of spark plugs and coilpack springs (clean the bottom of the spring with some 400 grit sandpaper first). thanks mate, and yeah just leaking out the dump... not really looking to spend any more than $100 or ill just buy another turbo, im not looking for more power or anything just running 5psi on it..

Hi all, turbo is leaking oil so i need to open it up and replace the seals / orings? anybody know where i could get these or f there is a kit available? rb20 turbo from r32 gtst btw..

get a flange the size of your exhaust pipe, weld in a plate to take up half the space inside the circle, bolt it in between your rear muffler and exhaust - got me out of shit =] oh and if you loose power just grind some of the welded plate off till you find a happy medium..

How much posted to 3840 mate? and is it leaking oil / causing smoke? Bought one off here recently and its stuffed..

well over the last few months ive been doing an rb25de+t project but just wanted to see if anyone could show me a picture of where exactly to make the holes for the stock side mount piping? Hoping to have the car finished this weekend.

Size 15x6 114.3 four stud. To suit r33 gts25.

Bought a crossover pipe with a bov on it and oddly enough it has a mitsubishi logo on it.. WTF? anybody happen to know if this could cause and problems?

Hi all, been doing an rb25de+t conversion on my r33, and the very last thing I need to do is do the coolant lines for the turbo! Just wondering if anybody has any photos of where to plumb the coolant lines, now as far as I'm aware the return is just under the exhaust manifold with the big headed blanking bolt can anybody verify? And I'm clueless as the where the feed is..

im in the same position, everything else is ready to go.

There may have been water in the fuel, this usually is only a problem if you are filling up while a truck is filling the tanks (the fresh petrol lifts and mixes all the water and sediment in the tank) or when the tanks become very low. I would recommend draining your tank into a few 20l drums and after leaving it to sit for a little while looking for "different levels" in the fuel indicating water. But this also sounds like a problem i had with mine which turned out to just be a loose / dirty afm plug. What does it do above 2000 rpm? or does it just not reach it? if it doesnt reach anything over 2500 i would sy check your afm connections and give the element itself a clean using co cleaner or maf cleaner.

R33gtst ecu manual series 1. Turbo oil and water lines with all bolts fittings etc. All intercooler piping Will need everything posted to 3840.

I want an rb20de or an rb20det to use in a project, due for rebuild is ok but nothing completely stuffed.
