  2. yes i meant its a non turbo bottom end, and head. wich doesnt really matter anyway cause the only difference is the cam which has been replaced anyway, but thats the extent of the headwork done to it. i worded it badly

  5. what i meant by my mates motor is non turbo is.. its a factory non turbo motor, with a turbo setup on it. im terribly sorry for wording that very wrong! i was trying to get the point across at the strength of an internally standard rb30

  9. for f**ks sake my vl was turbo!!!!!!!!!!!! 200rwkw in any non turbo 6 cylinder is impossible. yeah i started this thread wanting to know if its even been done with a turbo application, i never started the thread to talk about my plan of doing it!! and yes my skyline has an rb20det
  10. wtf is with so much hating. you blokes go crazy over a twin cam rb30. but as soon as a single cam is mentioned your the devil for saying anything about it LOL ffs. im doing it cause it will be cheap and easy cause im on my p's so i need to make my 32 n/a and i can get an rb30 for nothing as opposed to spending thousand on a rb25. then when i get my full licence ill put a 25 head on and a big setup and put a big f**k off setup on it.

WHAT!!?? i had a 12 second vl before i got the r32 i currently have. the whole setup owed me no more than 2 grand and it made over 200rwkw with a standard computer and an untouched non turbo rb30. i have a mate making 380hp with an also completely stock non turbo rb30 bar a head gasket and cam. i also have another mate making 400hp with a stock turbo rb30, just has a cam and valve springs. im not trying to say they are better than a 25, but they make power just as easy, and have an extra 500cc! and in my opinion are alot more simple and easy to work on. yeah as a vl owner i guess im just more biased to the rb30. im thinking of doing it cause ive never seen it done and it would be something totally different. obviously the long term plan would be a single cam head for when i want to make some really serious power

  19. dunno mate but i didnt get it from casula, was a bit shit when i got it, had a few problems, everythings been fixed up since, only thing i havnt got round to is painting the bonnet. spent a bit of money on it but losing my licence now so its got to go. i paid more than 6.5 too, ive seen n/a r32's go for that price lol

  23. hey guys selling my r32 as im losing my licence in 2 weeks. dont know a whole lot about the car, but these are the main basics, rb20det 170 thousand kays, reco box about 2 months ago, im pretty sure it has gtr brakes, bilstein struts, has been lowered, has been resprayed in a very rare gtr special order colour, its a blueish grey with a goldy pearl in it, has a black bonnet, FMIC, custom 3" turbo back, sunroof, jvc head deck, amp, 2 subs, boost controller, set at about 14psi, goes really well for what it is. ice cold air con, gtr wheels with good tyres all round, june rego, fairly immac interior, drives really well have never had a problem. has a couple of very minor dents and a slight scrape on the front bar other than that its perfect. its overall a pretty clean r32. the colour looks awesome in the sun 0415477089. txt msgs are ok between 8-5 monday to saturday, any other time calling is fine. asking $9000 ono. will negotiate for serious buyers, have no time for time wasters, no test pilots, the only person driving the car will be me until sold! will consider swaps for something non turbo
