What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
Run-It-Hard replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I've ordered/bought all sorts of shit for my Stagea over the past week (mind you, I've owned it for 8 days). Just picked up some DRiFT "Blade" seats (GTR replicas) yesterday for $400 a pair, BARGIN! -
I spotted a Yellow S2 in Campbelltown today, had a SAU sticker on the rear window. Looked sweet!

Yeah it is a fun car for sure! Not as fun as my MX-5 yet. The looks on peoples faces when you flutter past is priceless though! I'm guessing this is like a shittalk thread? I'm good at doing that -

Hey guys, just bought myself a Stagea on Saturday and drove it back from Melboure. Loving it! That is all -
Sorry, I was pretty vague! I've got an S1. Managed to figure out what I needed so all good I'll post part numbers up later, I can't remember them atm Not worried about the brakes or auto though, will be changed in a few months.

Hey guys, I recently bought myself a Stagea! It's in need of a service. I've done a quick search and found a few part numbers for various pieces (which end up being useless, as there is no brand listed). Anyway, I'm more interested in whether the listings for oil filters, spark plugs, fuel filter and all that jazz are the same as the Skylines? I know the belts, tensioners and waterpumps are interchangable across the RB engines (and I've already ordered these). I don't see why they wouldn't be but I just wanted to make sure before I get everything together and find out that the threads are different on the Stagea RB or w/e. Cheers, Adam.

It's offical guys, I'm a Stagea owner! I picked up a gray Zenki DAYZ edition 2 hours out of Melbourne over the weekend. Check out http://run-it-hard.com for info on the journey, I'll probably post a build thread up here once the ball gets rolling. -

It doesn't phase me much, as I'll be changing quite a few things on the car. But yeah, I'm not a fan of the S2 fronts, and I'd prefer an S1 front. But like I said, I'll have to wait until the MX-5 goes before I do anything. -

It's an S2 though, I'd prefer an S1. I won't be looking for a Stagea until my MX-5 is sold ... which could be quite a while. -
This is it, my beloved MX-5 is now for sale! I have been thinking about this day for the past 6 months, whether I should sell the car or not. But I think with over 6 years of ownership it's time to move on. So, where do I start? Every inch of this MX-5 has been tinkered with in some way, shape or form. Bodywise, it's not the best, there is 2 small dints on the rear quater panels from an "incident" a few years ago. Most of the bodykit has been rattle-canned and does not match the colour of the car, and the Hardtop/Apillar has been sprayed in flat white. Interior is in great nick, no rips or tears on the trim, or seats. There is no soft top though. All the running gear is in supurb condition, the engine currently in the car has extremely low kilometers (under 30,000), and is paired with a 6 speed gearbox and ORC clutch/flywheel combo. The car started out as a daily driver (and it still is). But I've now focused on building it to take the abuse from drift and circuit driving. However, I don't enjoy driving him anymore and I have lost interest in it. There are plenty of mods on the car, and it is far from showroom condition, I'm not going to tell you otherwise, but it is a great car that will handle litterally anything you give it. I don't even want to know how much I've spent on this NB, it would easily be double of what I'm asking though. Registration runs out next month, but 6 months rego will be added before it sells. I have all sorts of spares in the garage, a set of 16 inch wheels, 4 spare tyres, standard exhaust, airbox etc. My NB has 158,xxxkm's on the chassis, engine has roughly 30,xxxkms, box has roughly 80,xxxkm and most parts were fitted after 130,xxxkm. A full spec sheet of my MX-5 can be found below. http://roadstergarage.net/about-roadstergarage/roadstergarage-mx-5-spec-sheet/ The car is located in Liverpool region of NSW. Price: $17,500 as is with spares included and 6 months registration. I will go lower with exception of partially stripping the car (you can choose what you don't want on the car). If you are genuinely interested in my MX-5, then shoot me a PM and we can go from there. Adam.

Hey Guys, Thinking Of Buying A Stagea

I've figured out what I want now. Black/Gray S1, I don't mind if it's AWD or RWD (I'll be pulling the shafts out anyway). I don't want leather, as I'll be changing the front seats. Already converted manual would be cool, if not I'll do it myself with a mean clutch to handle the abuse it'll get. Taking an S2 out for a spin later today, I'm quite anxious to see what these things drive like! -

That sounds like a complete beast unique1! Perth is a little far away though, and I'm sure your asking price wouldn't be in my budget. If I do go ahead with this, I'll be stripping the 5 back and selling it cheap as a stocker (it's pretty banged up). It has a shitload of goodies in it though. Still on the fence though, I'm sure a test drive will help make my mind up, I'll have to wait for the weekend. -

Honestly, I prefer the Stagea over the Caldina. I'm not so worried about weight, just curious to know what a Stagea actually weighs. I also love the sound of the RB engines -

Thanks for all the input guys! Sounds like it'll reletively easy to set everything up for some skids. Are these steering racks in these things the same as an R33 or anything? just wondering about tie rod's and all that jazz now. -

While were at it, how hard are these to convert to manual? I'd presume just clutch pedal, slave, master, clutch flywheel and box? or do you need shit like driveshaft and mounts? Looking forward to some answers Adam. -
Hey guys! I've had my MX-5 for 6 years now and I'm starting to think it's time for a change. I'll be a shame because I have a website deticated to my car but that's life. I seem to have a thing for oddball cars though, as I'd prefer a Stagea over a Skyline just to be a little different. I love the shape of them, and the amount of room they have for spare tyres, tools etc. I've been into drifting for a few years now and I'll want to be doing the same in the Stagea. It seems pretty easy to get these RWD (pull out the front shafts). So, I've got a few questions if you guys don't mind. Roughly what power does the RB engine get out of basic bolt on's (exhaust, intercooler etc). Is the diff strong enough for the abuse that I plan to give it, or will I need to upgrade it to a Kaaz unit etc? What kinda width/offset wheels can these suckers take? What are parts like ? Say I smash the guards or door up ... will it cost me an arm and a leg and take months to find a replacement? I can't seem to find out how heavy these things are, they are close to 2 tonne aren't they? (1800kg or something). I haven't driven one yet, but I am expecting to feel like a big ass boat (compared to my MX-5) anyway ... is there any Stagea importers in sydney that I could go have a look at? Ideally I'd be after a black series II with a manual (don't want to do a conversion, already went through that on the 5). Or would any of you kind fellas take me for a spin? I'm located around the Liverpool area. Sorry for all the questions guys. Here's a pic of my shitter to make up for it (kinda). Adam.
