Hey, I'm 100% Nissan Skyline to take honours. So far with the 3 track days we have had at QR, the Black Beast R33 GTR has won two events and a Porsche GT3 the other one. Having said that the GTR only attended two events.

Yep, its a requirement of hiring the track to take out one of their liability packages. I usually get the AASA package for "Timed Speed Event".

Hey guys. Not sure how long it takes to get from Yatala to Queensland Raceway. Just make sure you get there around 7:30 so we can occupy the track for the full 4 hours. Takes a bit of fiddling around to get set-up and run the drivers briefing etc. Shall we run the Clubman Track for 1.8 hours then, the Sprint Track for the next 1.8 hours. Yes you do need a current drivers license. It is a requirement of the insurance we take out for the day. I have confirmed this as we had someone with a suspended license last track day and had to cancel their participation.

Yes, just EOI at this stage. But please be fairly sure you are in before nominating. About 3 - 4 weeks out would be the time to pay. Once we hit the 2 week mark we are locked into the event. I only put 15 due to lazyness. I put all 48 spots up their now.

Day: Sunday May 22. Start 7:30am, on track from 8:30 to 12:30 (4 hours) Cost: Should cost approx $120 per driver (pending numbers) Maximum Starters: 48 Laps: 1 warm up, 5 hot, 1 cool down. Max. 8 cars per group on track Payment: I will need everyone to PM me their email address so I can send you my bank account details. I need to have the money in full 2 weeks before the event to pay for the track. No refunds within the 2 weeks of the event, but replacements are cool. Unless we have a full booking, then refunds are also cool. Equipment: All the regular Track Day guys will be familiar with the timing gear we have. 1/100th of a second lap times, main straight trap speeds, track and ambient temperatures, Giant sign to show lap times live. Best lap order shown at the end of each session. Required: The requirements are the same as the normal sprint days. Long sleeve clothing - wrist to ankle to neck. Helmet and covered shoes. Do you want me to organise / time this event as per my other weekday track days ? I have a booking for the Track the morning of Sunday May 22 (8:30 to 12:30) . Should give everyone time to have their cars prepared. I have not opened this date for bookings yet, so I can reserve most of it for Skylines and just fill any blank spaces with other cars. I should even have the giant sign ready by then so you can see Lap Times live and main straight trap speeds. It does a best lap of the day scroll as well, so you can see run by run who is holding the honors.

Gullwings give you that odd looking sill thing going on. If you get a brochure off those guys you will see a pic of an R33 with the Sissor doors. Else I will post a pic later.

Hey guys, glad you had a top time at track day. Go a bit easy on me and my dinged front guard. I've got a replacement but it is black and needs painting. I will get to it once the engine is running properly. I have now organised 3 track days at QR an driven 7 laps in total. (grumble). Hey guys, I was at Elio's tonight for dinner and seems you have forgotten to tell the venue about this ? They are pretty muched booked out for Friday night. But I did manage to organise a table for 15 for you guys but someone has to call me on Monday to lock it in (I arranged this as Elio's is shut and you guys won't be able to contact them but I can). Track Day Tuesday March 15. Usually at least 1/3 of the cars are Skylines.

I have Bridgestone SO-3 on at the moment. They seem like good tyres. I agree about the Bob-Jane at Taringa. I got my car sorted there a few Sundays back. Good guys.
