Hey Marc, Was a great day, family enjoyed it a lot. My boy was very excited to see so many Buffy's together in one place. (I named my car "Buffy the V8 Slayer", yes I know I have issues). Was good to put faces to people on the forum. Also japtaxi, nice picture of the Skyline reflecting off the back of my Skyline.

I have recently heard that a GTR doesn't need an external surge tank as there is already one in the tank. Anyone know how good it is etc ?

I have found BP Ultimate to be more consistent quality. I have had a few dodgy tanks of Optimax.

lol, maybe after a few more mods. Just wondering if the 180km/h limiter will be a problem if I don't get it solved before track day.

What sort of top speed should I expect at the end of the front straight ?

Does anyone know the model number of the pump described below. I have called Bosch but they were no help. Thanks in advance. This pump is a Bosch K-Jetronic pump which is capable of pumping efficiently at high fuel pressures and suits high boost , high flow applications. It has a built in strainer on the base of the pump and can usually be adapted to suit most in-tank applications. It is commonly called an Audi Motorsport pump by people in the trade. It has similar physical dimensions to the external Bosch motorsport pumps but is a little shorter.This unit is the In-Tank version of the Bosch 044 Motorsport Pump "I recomend this pump as it flows 600+ hp and is around $200 cheaper then an 044 motorsport pump."

Have you tried TyreTech in Albion, or Colemans. And Rolscar Tyre and Mechanical do a good deal.

Man, its my first time around the QR Clubman circuit also. All my previous track experience is up at Morgan Park. Also be a good test of the next version of the timing gear, I have added a speed reading to the lap times. One of the GTR's has side pipes (for the track) that exit just in front of the passenger side rear tyre, man does that sound sweet under full noise.

I know the 300ZX rear calipers are different to R32 GTR rears.

Have you considered powder coating them. I had mine done and the finish is very nice.

You read about people doing that because the R32 ECU is programmable.

I had the same but the opposite. Turned out to be an odd shaped stone caught in the brakes.

What is the surface condition you are getting it on ? Maybe your front suspension is too stiff and the tyres are skipping accross the top of the bumps

I have used Green Stuff and Ferodo. The Green Stuff were better on the track and the Ferodo better on the street. Who makes RB74's ?

Does changing the front callipers to the bigger ones effect the ABS or the brake bias ?
