i dont know no one knows, maybe the car was like that when it came from the factory or maybe cheap quality tranny oil was used? -
Thank you very much! I will try this today to see how it goes, removing the caliper seems to be my main concern

how do i get my socket wrench onto screw 2, theres a metal bit / hose blocking it
-
Searched the forum found one post that was quite unrelated so I decided to post this...how do you remove them? I saw a few guides that relate to the turbo versions of the skyline and their brakes are different to NA skylines. Here are some pics: Am I mean to unscrew screw 1, 2 or 3? And how do I get my socket wrench in the tiny gap there?? And with the disc, how do you take it off? Do I just pull or does it come off with the centre thing and 2 side holes? This is really frustrating, someone please help (This is a rear brake with handbrake off on an R34 non turbo

Lol S4s are only S4s because they have heaps of contraindications, adverse drug reactions and a more narrow range of therapeutic indexes. Plus most of the drugs are subsidised by NHS for 34.20 so that makes it alright for most people to get

Where are the coil packs located on the NEO-RB25DE, is it where I circled in red? Do I have to take the cover off and it's just under it remove hosing and stuff to get to it?

same thing happens to me when i put it into neutral and clutch in really fast theres this 'clunk' sound, it only happens once in about every 8 times i do it but its annoying. Also i find it very hard to put it into 1st and 2nd gear i had to really push as hard as i can to get it in clutch is fully depressed, but when i put it in and out of first repeatedly it becomes baby smooth to put it in first, any idea what i can do to fix this problem too? -
thanks for this guide, appreciate it heaps, will do it after exams in 2 days! can't wait! thanks!!!

i got my car from sei motors, they have excellent cars there nice clean and stock, did have a few problems down the line as expected from coilpacks, fuel consumption etc which i still have to pay more money to fix, but the guy, Bill, he's a nice bloke if it drives fine looks fine seems decent for its price then it probably is. Have a look at the thread before buying a skyline to see what you're really after.

a black r34 on cruise control with exhaust sounding very nice droning past caulfield racecourse at about 9am this morning, looked very stock I WANT!!

in victoria where can i buy one of these 'consult' things and what do you mean you don't need the consult cable to check it?
-
get the obd2 diagnostic device vibration probably caused by misfires this can be due to either sparkplugs or coilpacks if you don't know if they've ever been replaced before, this could be it and replace them with iridium spark plugs and splitfire coilpacks and guarenteed you'll never get a problem related to spark plugs and coilpacks ever again. My engine light has come on too and this is a month after changing 1 coilpack cause i was saving money, now another light has come on so it could be coilpacks, im saving up for splitfires and a replacement of all 6 of them, sigh so much trouble

i take back what i had just said, got pulled over RANDOMLY by an unmarked cop car driving next to the princess highway caulfield he didn't defect me cause my car was stock laters
-
spotted a black highly modded r33 i think he gave me a thumbs up then i got pulled over by highway patrol for a random RWC check on the way back
-
okay thanks for the support guys! btw i just got pulled over for the first time, it was highway patrol checking if the car was road worthy. when he saw that everything was stock, he told me to drive off LOL
-
got pulled over my first time! thought i was doing something wrong when i drove a little onto the wrong side of the road to avoid a car but the officer told me to pop the bonnet and he started measuring the car height and checked under the bonnet, then he said "all stock okay you can go"

so you don't think it will break down in the middle of no where or anything like that?

Mid semester break is approaching fast and I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the general automotive section. With 100,000kms coming up on the clock, the car is frequently getting the 'yellow check engine light' coming on, not always about one in every 10 trips and I notice nothing different about the car when it does pop on so I didn't get it checked out. I want to go for a trip along the east side and was wondering what I need replaced and if the car would actually make it all the way there and back without blowing too many tyres and radiators etc. This is what I had in mind for the trip: Install a pod filter Possibly install a cat-back exhaust (to make the engine breathe easier) Replace timing belt Get new tyres Do the usual service things Get the stock clutch checked? Would this be sufficient to travel a few thousand KMs from Melbourne and back? Let's say I'm going to Brisbane / Sydney or maybe Adelaide. My car is a naturally aspirated r34 skyline. EDIT: THE CAR IS COMPLETELY 100% STOCK! Any opinions or thoughts? Please move this into the right section if this is in the wrong section, thanks mods!
