  1. ^^^^^ Thats phat Your paint works a fair bit better then mine though As for using the s13 cross member and rack, it was mainly just a fact that my mate one laying in his shed which he wasn't gonna be using any time soon, and it is actually a matching power steer rack and cross member compared what I had in there (z31 rack on bluey cross member). The track is a bit wider haven't measured exactly how much wider haven't got that far yet. I haven't yet made up the linkages so there aint much to show, but I now have the motor sitting in the engine bay to make up engine mounts to suit the new cross member and to make sure everything is going to fit up all good which it is.
  2. And I never got to go for a ride in it.
  3. Just a couple more . I will get some pics of the rack and pinion up in the next few days as I have gonna completley different setup (s13 cross member and rack) and I just need to make up some steering linkages to suit.
  4. I just had a little tab welded onto my old crappy cooler to take the place of the support bar. Just drilled a hole in it and bolted it in place.
  5. I've done all of the work my self. I'll borrow a camera off of my brother and get some photo's of how I went about doing it, as it will show it a lot better.
  6. I've done rack and pinion conversion, I haven't driven it as yet but it's a lot of stuffing around and 1 big head case all up. It really depends on how seriously you like your R30 if it's worth it or not.
  7. R30 4 door wagon..... LOL
  8. Well I'll be. It would seem it is one and the same, This is the original interior shot I have from when it was first imported, which is still pretty much the same. I got these photos from an Importer in Adelaide when it first came in a few years back. Cool car.
  9. It's on.
  10. I don't really know a whole heap about these old touring cars, unlike some people in this thread but God damn would I kill for any one of these cars.
  11. lol like you can talk Mr. I wanna sell my car 1 week then back onto it the next j/k
  12. My mate has just imported this one and is looking to off load it. I haven't personally seen it yet just seen a lot of photos and looks the goods and a real stocker I think he's looking for around 6500-7000 uncomplied. May not be white but is really nice looking. I belive contact details can be found here friendly garage. He'll be able to send you off a whole heap of photos. It's in Adelaide by the way. red_minta.bmp
  13. Yup same, I'm running datto mounts and had to elongate the holes.
  14. I would very much agree with this but it all depends on how far you are willing to go with your suspension. Not much of mine is still standard including mounting positions for a lot of things. B)
  15. Nope standard s13 springs are too wide for the skyline strut towers.
  16. That damage looks harsh!! Are there eny creases in the roof?
  17. If only it was a drivers window I could have helped ya
  18. Mine did that for a little bit. Then the alternator went.
  19. That does look strange doesn't it But it is actually there, for some reason it just doesn't look it.
  20. Just put a 1" spacer under the insert, and what do ya know they fit.
  21. That one isn't my car. It's a good mate of mines DR, but damn do I love it. Still yet to get of my but and spray my car. As for the color coded bumpers I think it just makes it look a bit tacky. And just a much better look about it with all black bumpers, rather than just the black stripe down the center. In the back ground you will also see a written off DR30 shell under the white cover.
  22. And after it cained a tree and was reborn (with my wheels on it of course)
  23. yep what he said same as all nissans/ datsuns
  24. I put my 9's with a +35 on front and rear and they both went on fine, the photo's in the thread of my car show it that way, how ever I have s13 suspension at the front. I now run 20mm spacers and they sit just outside the gaurd like 5mm at most, which is gonna be fix by a gaurd roll. So I'd say these wheels will fit no worries.
  25. Gaurds are the same. I should know I have smashed up enough.
