It sadens me that people get just kill cars like this, the roof has been jumped on so no doubt there has been some significant damage there, probably not worth the hassle, unless you have extraordinarily deep pockets
Dead easy swap, elongate a couple holes in the bellhousing and it fits straight up, I have done a few for friends before. However the RB25 box has a larger output shaft so you will need a custom tailshaft. All though none of these went in R30's so I dont know where the shifter comes out in comparison to standard
There is not 38 grands worth of car there
I also know what a stock turbo'd R33 is capable of and it definently not 250rwkw and most definently not an 11second 1/4
So I take it you are from Adelaide? since it looks as though it's got SA number plates also.
You say your young, but where abouts have you run an 11 second quater? We haven't had a running 1/4 mile track anywhere near Adelaide for around 5 years. Plus 250kw on a standard turbo (somehow??) in a boat like R33 doesnt really add up to an 11second pass.
Adelaide is the R33 capital of Australia
Last SAU cruise I went on in a mates DR30 we felt completely out of place, we even got asked to move so all the 33's could get a group photo Sad but true
I'll see what I can do about getting some pics
No bump steer issues thus far, but as far as I can see there should really be any, as it's pretty much transfering the complete S13 setup from one car to the other with minimal geometry changes. I dont see why you couldnt use a laurel cross member as all mounting points are identical between the S13 an laurel.
2 bolts. you can replace it with an aussie delivered 30, some are the same
Yup just go grab an Aussie spec one from a wreckers. I had to do the same after my old man bent my mint original one while I had it off.
yup, S13 rack, Bluebird steering column , Z31 linkages, custom engine mounts, a bit of stuffing around but it's all pretty straight forward. Would be a lot easier to do in a bluebird since they all ready have a rack.
Dont know if it helps but I am running complete S13 front end (cross member, arms, knuckles) and am still running standard R30 sway bar and shortened standard caster rods (mounts point have not been touched) it all lines up sweet
Glen seaton at bathurst on slicks in the wet, Awesome steering work and good footage

Another advert featuring paul Newman and the silouhette DR30
And again an advert "I know skyline is teriffic" LOL
There are so many better base model cars to build a track car from would be both cheaper and would get better results from an S-chassis, and your car is too immaculate to do it to.
Come to think of it Datto boy's DR has been up for sale on here for a while and it is good start if you do want to make a track DR, it already has most of the basics few little bits and pieces here and there and it would be good to go

Hey I take offence to that, sounds like me, except I'm not a p-plater any more
