  1. Definently the track day before the show and shine. That way you know which cars are worth checking out and which ones are just poser mobiles.
  2. Iron Chef can I ask how far off maximum capacity you reckon you are? Still gonna have plenty of time to enter? As pretty much most of my mates own highly modified old schoolers (rolla's, datto's, mazdas etc). It's just a matter of them getting off their asses at some point and entering Just dont expect too much. Shes a bit rough around the edges.

  7. Well it's finally running, got an slight oil leak in the oil cooler setup and the exhaust manifold gasket has also sprung a leak. Still got a little more playing around to do before i can really lean on the motor.
  8. Yup I have 2 mates running E6's (whatever the latest model is) perfectly fine with no dizzy modifications. Mine is an E8. And it will most definently be heading to John for my power tune, I just have boost worxs doing some bullshit work and getting it running. My bumpers and side strips only look so shit there because they havent been cleaned since I originally started rubbing the car back so they are covered in white dust. My mate has this sweet bumper restore stuff which did wonders on his DR so I'm gonna give it a shot. Plus the car it's self hasn't been cleaned since I painted it so it has close to 2 years of dust on it.

  10. More dramas. Car has been sent off to an auto elec as they cant figure out whats going on.

  12. 17x9 +35 on the front with no spacers 17x10 +45 rear with a 20mm spacer. But it will be completley spacer free when I finally get around to putting the s13 rear end in. Then it will be pretty much up to the spec I originally wanted when I pulled it off the road.
  13. WOW V mount. Thats had some serious work done to it motor wise. Much else done to suspension apart from coil overs?`
  14. Yup twin pipes rock, so simple yet so tuff looking. I havent got around to putting any mufflers in yet so she's gonna be loud. I would also like to know if the rack and pinion conversion was worth it. It sure does feel a lot better then it used to just rolling it round.
  15. Who wants to see how slack I have been? 3 years on and it's going in for it's first start up and tune tomorrow after a whole heap of dramas involving the haltech. Still needs the paint fixed up and a few bits and pieces. I kinda lost interest for a while there but now I just wanna drive the damn thing sick of working on it. Had big plans for this car but nothing has really eventuated of it just yet. 1 thing is for sure I will never part with this car. AS it sits in my driveway ready to leave on a truck tomorrow morning I will have to up date on how it goes, with past visits to the tuner in mind I'm not really holding my breathe 220-240RWKW on finally tune and I will be one happy chappy

  17. Can somebody please buy that and take the wheels off and throw them off a cliff. Maybe even sell them for scrap metal cause they no doubt weigh a tonne.

  19. As it turns out my dog really doesn't like screamer pipes or rev limiters.
  20. My mate sold this for $4500 uncomplied. End of last year and would have been less the $1000 to comply it. It took him about 6months to sell it too hence he had to drop the price just to find a buyer. I'm as big of an enthusiast as anyone out there but I don't reckon I would pay over 10 for one. Or it would have to be pretty damn well modified to justify it. If I remember correctly that non iron mask blue one with the flared gaurds, high mount turbo and after market comp etc etc went for a smidge under 10g. But from what I have been seeing a modified DR doesn't seem to atract too much more cash the an unmodified minter, hence why I don't ever plan on selling my car. It's just not worth it, not that the thought would ever cross my mind.

  23. Wow you must be looking in different places to me, I haven't seen one sell for over $10,000. I have seen plenty go up for sale for more but none sell. Tom monk house sold his for 10 I believe and I was surprised he got that much, and that was pretty extensively modified. The last one my mate brought in and sold went for $4500 uncomplied, and was in pretty schmick standard condition.
  24. My to-do list is pretty much complete. It just needs to be started then run in then blown up again, yay. But yea at some point I'm gonna be converting the rear end to s13 cradle which shouldn't be too hard with a bit of fore thought, after that it's not getting any money spent on it. Famous last words.
