  1. Neil, i have been looking for something as well with the option to have a data output so i can feed the info to the logger and dash. The type you have pictured seem to be the type that a lot of OEM and the V8SC teams use, one thing i noticed was the V8 teams have a pick up sensor near each wheel as do a lot of the OEM manufacturers however the aftermarket ones like the one you have pictured use a generic aerial, it might mean you need to program each time. I purchased a while ago an Orange TPMS which worked well and i used it on the trailer however when i got new tyres on two of the wheels on the trailer i think the guys installing it must have stuffed the sensors as they developed a slow leak and i had to replace them with std valves and i put the TPMS back on the shelf where it has stayed for a fair few years.
  2. Picked this up today from Bunnings, they are deleting the range. Was only $50
  3. Who is going to the Melb race?
  4. Total Tools Fyshwick have the Unimig ACDC on sale at the moment for $1,119
  5. If it is thick enough it would aid in directing flow, must have made enough of a difference to risk it though.
  6. Those hose pliers are so cool and definitely one that makes getting the buggers off easier. Lost count of the number of times i have busted knuckles slipping the screwdriver trying to get old ones off. As for the spreaders, i haven't tried them out yet. I dont have the twins on the front anymore but if you like i can measure the size of the spreader for you so you can check it fits?
  7. After watching this thread for a while i also picked up the following. Thanks
  8. Picked up the Repco plazma cutter at half price which is less than most ebay china ones so thought why not. Also some wiha screwdrivers and flexi drivers
  9. Pretty simple rules above, will assist a lot of people going forward and clear up any issues if you can or can not put a camera on your helmet. I like the tether rule, not only for safety sake but also for the cameras sake as if it falls off on the track it might be an expensive track day
  10. Yeah I would have to say that heading up the big hill coming out of the gong is a struggle for any car. Up mooney mooney I can sit on 100 if I really want to but I usually do about 80 to 90 up the hill. got to love the falcon
  11. I have done a fair bit of towing with my FG g6eturbo. Trip to Phillip Island and back I got about 14ltrs per 100. I would say that the falcon is a very good option and never had an issue with the gearbox which has done 115k so far. Most of my trips have been about 3hours one way to Wakefield with the exception of winton and Phillip island which I think was 10hours one way.
  12. How much were they?

  17. Picked up some Sidchrome stubby ratcheting spanners and a 3 piece Ratchet set today. Repco is having a 1/2 price clearance sale so cost me $49.99 for the ratchets (total) and $65 for the spanners. My brother in law also bought a 64 piece socket set for $115. Get in quick.
  18. That looks good. Is that a teddy bear in the background?
  19. Went and checked them out today. The exact same ones but a 5 piece set was nearly double the price. There was two sets left after I grabbed a set if anyone was interested. The chullora store.
  20. I hope these are not Chinese ones?
  21. I was looking online and Masters have a Felo Ergonic Screwdriver Set 6 Piece for only $40 http://www.masters.com.au/product/100884747/felo-ergonic-screwdriver-set-6-piece That is really cheap
  22. I was in there today as well. Bought that llarge HSS drill set, some 125mm soft jaws for the vice and also that nice step down drill set. It was very busy today, lots of wide eyed adults looking like they were kids in a candy store.
  23. Made myself a new portable workshop light. 2 x 50w SMD Led flood lights for under $50ea delivered from ebay and a light stand from Jaycar for under $30. 9000lm for $123 total.
  24. FYI - they have released the sale pricing online now over a week in advance.
  25. I wonder though what "just a dial guage" will turn into?
