  1. Hi, I have 4 new injectors for sale which are 850cc side feed being the largest side feed injectors i think are available for the SR. I bought these for using with E85 and my current set up but with the planned set looking at over 350rwkw there is not enough head room. Suit someone looking at up to this sort of power on pump fuel or a little less with E85. Come with the conectors etc everything you need to drop into an SR $600 Regards Matt
  2. you just copyed my post, credit where it is due? http://www.nissansportscarclub.org/forum/s...ight=track+days
  3. i reckon you can get an s14/s15 going quicker then most GTR's, there is quiet a large improvement in times ATM in these cars and it's only starting to scratch the surface. The one thing quicker would be an EVO but that just sucks. Matt
  4. diff bushings pulled through and the front of the diff fell out and hit the rear sway bar. Could not move the car and tried to fix it after the session but got in trouble with race control. They allowed me to wait until lunch time and i band aided it up so i could get it back on the trailer. All sorted now but the front caliper seals went as well so waiting to get a new seal kit to rebuild them. Just put 2 bottles of new fluid in as well which is a bummer. Matt
  5. Really disapointing to see what happened with the previous motor and those bearings in particular, not very nice stuff. Good to see things are progressing nicely with the new rebuild and hopefully it will all work out for you. Matt
  6. it looks like they are second hand ones, you don't know anyone with the remote mounts laying around do you?
  7. what a supercharged falcon?
  8. ...roy, you thinking of making the swap to an s chasis?
  9. wow - thats a shed. Sooooo much cool stuff to fabricate with, oh to dream.
  10. you should be able to fit drop axles to your current trailer and modify the guards, most metal fab places should be able to help
  11. ...did i read right that the wheels are only 8 inchs wide?
  12. one day but have to pay for the reno's and house first!!!!
  13. you will end up juist standinbg in the garage with a big smile on your face and the wife will be looking at you like you are a weirdo. great feeling having your own garage. keep the photos coming or any suggestions as doig some more playing around soon
  14. been living in a unit for a while now so know what that it is like to have no space or no power to work on your car. It is just awsome having space and heaps of light to see what you are doing now,
  15. old man got stuck into it today and pulled most of the bench together, starting on the shelving and finishing some bits off.
  16. Well done, looks slippery and pretty hairy in parts. I am sure you had to check you paints after the off over the top section at lukey heights looking at that tyre barrier coming up pretty quick - i think i moved to the left of the screen watching it!!!! Looking at the times, which cars were the white and silver R33's? http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../2010.PHIL.Q1.I they haven't don't a summary time which is a PITA
  17. getting some good ideas. curently working on the bench and shelves but lights are in and still a lot of stuff to get off the floor onto the shelves/bench once finished as well as finishing the painting of the floor. Bench under construction View from a bit inside Garage Entrance (it looks quiet small but had to zoom in) C Channel for the Shelves Finally get my grinder/polisher back And my baby who has not had much use in the last 2 years.
  18. and with the price of sr parts makes for easy modifying, upgrading from a t25 to t28 can be done for $250.
  19. just re-read what i said above and it might have come off that way but i was more meaning in a general sense about building on numbers from this year.
  20. i think there might have been a lot of competitors, trade, media and other types of entrys that might have sku'd the numbers a little bit if you were looking at takings on the gate but i don't think high octaine were under any false sence that they were going to make money from the day. Hopefully it went some way to cover expences but i think not near close enough. Next year i doubt if it would be as big unless the international cars want to come over on there own accord as most of the interest was generatred by the overseas cars, as long as it gets more interest then some of the other forms of motorsport although i think you are kidding yourself with generating V8 super car numbers.
  21. i thought the wear was comparable to the re55's with the exception of the higher pressures. i have been so far on these tyres to two full days at phillip island with a fair bit of track time and a day at wakefield and they are around 50% or maybe more. It is hard to define the level of tread depth left as i don't have one of the tread depth measuring tools only a ruler and flat bit opf wood so is a little inaccurate. That is the same as the RE55's from my experiences but there is a suggestion the A050's are a softer tyre
  22. i let them get a bit too high in pressure and the centre is almost shagged with both edges still at about 50%, the pressure builds up very quickly in the A050's i found and you really need to watch them closely. Thinking it might be a good idea to invest in one of those tyre monitors. Has anyone had much experience with them (tyre monitors) ?
  23. keen to understand a bit more about the tips that the japanese advan guy gave any teams about getting the best out of the A050. Tyre pressures? Seeing a lot of teams scrubed them in and then came in again and re-adjusted the pressures.
  24. i was listening to the owner and indy from IS talking and the owner was suggesting that it has been a few years since they built the car and they want to get the EVO 10 working better but it is quiet hard to get it as quick as the current car. He suggested the car would finish up now but then he did say at the end - maybe wait and see or words to that effect. And to my point above about the 180sx it was running around 250rwkw so not too shappy at all. Matt
