The second session, run from 1pm-5pm will be on a dry circuit. You may register for either one or both of the sessions. Should you only wish to participate in one session (either wet or dry) the cost will be $60 to members and $75 to non members. Full Day (Both Sessions) $100 to members and $130 to non members Special Requirements As a member of CAMS, Initial Drift will be requiring that all drivers and passengers wear long sleeve shirts and pants covering ankles to wrists to neck. Appropriate footwear must be worn along with a CAMS approved helmet (any AS helmet will do). These requirements are not open for interpretation and are ultimately for your safety (http://www.initialdrift.com.au/forums/view...php?p=6608#6608). 1st Question yes and free 2nd one Yes oh am i the yes man or what

for low speed and beginner then use a second hand tyre with less then 50% tread depth and one with out blocks on the tread pattern. For high speed drift then use good quality tyres with a nice soft compound as you will need to control the drift and it is hard to do at high speed with crap rubber. As for high speed keep the same wheels as you have on the front as using the stock wheels will make it also harder to control. Try stretching the rubber a bit to make the side walls have less flex. Hope this has helped.

That is very disapointing to here I can only hope that another promoter can take over the reigns and continue the good work were procar left off

Also In-car assistance will be available for those just starting out in the sport. To be consistent with D1 Grand Prix in Japan, we will be using D1 rules. For those not familiar with D1, the event format will be as follows: Qualifying will be judged through a series of corners which will be disclosed on the day. The top 16 qualifiers will be placed into 4 groups of 4 according to their skill level. They will then participate in a 'battle stage' i.e. 2 cars drifting simultaneously, one behind the other, where the intent is to out-drift the opponent in front of you while keeping as little distance as possible between the two cars. Each competitor has one lap only each in chasing, Loser being eliminated and the winner carrying on to the next Battle Round. Judging Criteria, In consistency with D1, is based on 5 factors; speed, drift angle, closeness to the leading car, style (which includes noise & tyre smoke), and crowd appeal.
