Spotted RR33GT on newbridge road I ninja'd a few pics but can't upload direct from my phone I was in the piece of poo white n13 pulsar sedan with really dark windows

Spotted a clean white r33 on eagleview road minto .... Gave me a wave , thought I has better be nice and wave back :-)

When I asked the rta they told me to obtain it from the dealer il call again tomorrow and see of they can issue me a replacement and there is no defect yet I have a letter of referral to the EPA

On the bottom of my rego paper it says "modified as per report as per report number - xxxxx "

Il make some calls tomorrow and follow this up because what your telling me is different to what rta tech is telling me ... They have verified that there is modifications on my car that have been and were required to be engineering but they can't specify exactly what the parts were without the certificicate being that these are pretty much the only aftermarket mods on my car I'm guessing they are on the certificate

Well at the end of the day I can't lose ... It passes all EPA tests and nothing happens or it's found to be illegal and it's replaced . But this does still not change the fact that regardless of the modification an engineers certificate must be supplied when a blue slip is issued ( how is the blue slip guy to know whats passed engineer and what didn't with out it ) without the certificate the blue slip was issued illegally ( that's according the Australian inspections agency) and department of fair trading states it's also against the law to sell me a car without the certificate

I think you better read it again mate :-) it's the number one example of minor modifications

Mate did you have a read of the vs1 06 before posting ? One of the things that it clearly states isSTANDARD emissions components must be retained and operate correctly I.e exhaust system , catalytic converter .... Considering I have a hi flow cat and full 3 inch exhaust I'd say it's in breech of this wouldnt you ?

Well after having a chat to rta tech team , inspection agency and department or fair trading it seems that the yard I bought my skyline from are in very big trouble . At the time my car was blue slipped the dealer failed to provide the blue slip station with a certificate of engineering meaning it was blue slipped illegally and they also failed to provide me with a certificate of engineering. So now Im going to hit them for the full cost of replacement stock parts and labour to fit them aswel as EPA fee's ... Hopefully it stays on this path and all goes to plan

Sounds easy but where to get a lend even rent of the parts needed ?

Hey all So today whilst driving (with my daughter in the car) at speeds of a MASSIVE 40kph I got pulled over (a common occurrence) after the old pop of the bonnet , click of the camera I now have a EPA referral :-( . He says my exhaust is too loud which I wont argue till I have facts , my front mount needs to be emissions tested and my pod filter which is under a enclosed aluminum housing (his argument is the bottom is not enclosed . Has any one had to have a EPA test for any of these 3 things ? My problem is I don't have any stock parts to change over and I imagine the wouldn't be cheap . I'm going to see what my options are regarding the dealer I bought it from because it "passed" a blue slip fitted with these things , the cop said I can write to the EPA and have them hunt down the dealer ?

Hey all iv noticed that sometimes if I boost my series 2 r33 past 4500rpms it has a very boggy response and a constant popping sound , any ideas as to what it could be ? Cheers

Hey all I'm Dallas (aka bamam) I'm 24 from campbeltown my ride is a series 2 white r33 gtst m spec (not sure if it's just the kit or genuine) I bought it with 76k on the clock with a 3inch stainless exhaust from tubio back into a cannon rear , FMIC , turbo timer , dyno tuned and recent work from pulse racing And a few other bits and pieces . Since owning it iv added 5% tint all round and 18 inch rims with staggered tread 8 up from 9 on the rears and a m80 alarm hope to see yas at some meets very soon cheers
