    If Ash says a normal battery is fine, then I guess I'll grab a normal battery haha! I thought it's best to get something with a higher CCA rating (maybe 500+) but then again, I know nothing about car batteries. I might just do what GTR-34A said and pull it out and take it to a shop.

    Looking to buy a battery for a 34 GTR. I would prefer to buy one that fits straight in behind the seat without making any adjustments. Does anyone know of a good battery and what CCA rating etc would be optimal?

    You asked if it was OK to use a standard ecu? Why would you ask this if you didn't have a standard ecu? Instead of wishing for people to read comments (which they did anyway) start wishing for some common sense. Give santa enough time to locate some and deliver it to you for Christmas.
