DON'T PANIC! Ive been running 295 / 30 rears and and 255/35 fronts for years, I wanted to use narrower or front to avoid tramlining as much as I could on our SHITTY nsw roads.

Hi does anybody know if its possible / easy to put new bearings in a garret gt30r turbo? I have one with noisy bearings due to being on a car with incorrectly set up oil drain. Has anyone here just fitted new bearings?

I started out playing wit mitsubishi and Toyota which have the exhaust on the drivers side close to the brake booster, clutch master, steering rack / box etc. Coatings made a big improvement in temp control. ....... wish I never bought a nissan.

I'm all for coating the manifold, turbine housing and dump. I won't wrap exhaust, if it's too close to another component I would shield that part first. I also have wrapped and covered in foil tape intake piping and intercooler return pipe depending on the situation as said earlier to keep the hot air out. I have just replaced and upgraded a gt35 on a gu petrol patrol where beanie, heat Wrap braided lines cooked everything. It all went in the bin along with the near new turbo but that's another story. People seem to like touching turbine housings straight after a drive cause they radiate nowhere near as much heat after being coated. That's just my experiences though.

I have just finished a turbo swap where I had to mod a dump pipe that was wrapped on top half only. As seen in pic it was cooked to the point of shedding layers on the inside and outside. Had to remove 3 layers before it was able to be welded. It's mild steel Btw. I definitely wouldn't wrap anything.

What power do they generally make with e85 on 22 psi?
