    Standard injectors. Have a gauge . Set at 38 psi adjusted up and down . More pressure = higer idle. Would tps / cas setting cause it?

    It wants to start as usual with afm plugged in but seems like I've missed something. There are no vacuum leaks.

    I've just got the engine in a cefiro running. It's an r34 rb26 head on rb30 bottom end. I'm using the wiring/ ECU from the rb20 that was originally in car. All wiring is converted to suit the 26 intake manifold / r34 cas. It starts and idles with afm disconnected. Runs pretty good. As soon as afm is plugged in it dies. Fires up on the key for about a second then cuts out. Could there be anything I've overlooked to cause this. It has adjustable fuel reg to compensate for bigger engine. Once it's running I'll fit a haltech and turbo , injectors etc but just need it going for now for rego inspection.

    I've got 750cc injectors, haltech and suitable pump, intercooler and exhaust. Was thinking 500 whp would be enough in a light cefiro. Should I wind in boost til the injectors are near their limit? I accidentally posted previous post here. Sorry to OP. I've moved it to efr thread. Maybe he may find it informative none the less.

    I'm just fitting a 26/30 in a cefiro. It's an r34 head that's been reco'd, stock low km rb30 bottom end with head studs and new oil pump. I have a 9174 ewg 1.05 and twin 40 mm gates I was going to put on my gtr. Should I fit this to the cefiro now and buy another one for gtr later? Is it overkill for a stock bottom end as I was thinking 20 psi Max on this combo on p98 as I have the fuel system now to support 550 whp? Not sure how far to push the 2630.

    How much are they? ( I've heard the saying re if you need to ask you can't afford). How user friendly street wise are they?

    Does anybody know if aftermarket cams are branded? I've had the covers off and only marking I can find is the one pictured. It says 64 and 9.0 Would this be 264° and 9.0mm lift? Assuming it's stamped 64 and not 264 as it obviously can't be 164 or 364° Any ideas?

    What are you doing for idle control? And are you talking about the iacv or aac valve for both? I'm converting to single throttle body by removing throttle plates and adding vh45 throttle body. Not sure if I need aac/ iacv as the car is auto

    Why did you delete all of this? I'm sorting mine out now to suit rb20 loom. You can use a length of hose and 2 clamps and loop the 2 together or just a short piece with corresponding size bolt.

    Are the very noisy / rattly? I have a blitz twin plate which works great at said power level but is very annoying in traffic noise wise.

    Just weld an aluminum one on. Will last forever.

    I got an efr 9174 alloy chra and 1.05 ewg rear housing for just over $2400 all up with 360° clamp kit. Whats a GTX going for?
