Spoke to some of the other students today who are in my class, they seem to know all the real world stuff better. I was told that anyone trying to get into the police force has to have a spotless record and that applies for the lab rats as well. I'll have to swing it by my teachers about minor infringements, but I was told speeding fines weren't allowed and one of the girls has one which shes bummed about.

Won't even bother fighting it, guess I'll just have to pay up. The really annoying thing is for me to get into forensics I have to have a clean record for 3 years. I might have to start walking everywhere.

So I've gotten this $291 fine and lost 3 demerit points for failing to stop at a stop sign. I was pretty surprised when the officer pulled me over and said that, considering I had put my car in first and that gear locks up until you stop. Can anyone on here give me any advice about disputing fines? I keep hearing not too, but I think this $291 fine is pretty ridic. I've seen speeding fines that were less. I had no idea what this officer was on about, he seemed to be under the impression I wasn't paying attention to driving and started mocking me about drugs and alcohol and then went on about how road safety is important, which made me want to drive into a wall since I always pay attention.

not being sarcastic, looking back now the post does sound very dumb. I actually dont have one, looked real hard at the dash too. I managed to run my tank almost empty to see if anything lights up. I've heard of other skylines being like this, but im not concerned with it so never bothered looking it up. I was under the idea that the na models, being the cheaper ones, nissan might have skipped over that.

I had a pretty bad experience last year. Went round a very gradual corner at 40, usually take it at 60. Half way through turning my car very casually lost all traction. the rear wheels must have been spinning at sync with the road too, as the 4wd couldn't pick up that I was suddenly traveling along the road at 90 degrees. Ended up going up a gutter and just avoiding a tree, which really pissed me off cause I just spent a month looking for hubs after having my car go sideways up a gutter. Anyway, ended up on the road facing the other way, somehow the car was still in gear and hadn't stalled.

I thought it was cheaper for nissan, considering the gts were the cheapest models
