A while after I had my clutch pedal adjusted it started making some scraping sounds (best way I can describe it) that went away and came back a few days ago. So I'm pretty sure it was caused by too much pressure on the throw out bearings and I read that all I had to do was shorten the clutch pedal. After trying this and going for a drive eventually my clutch starts making loud eerie screeching sounds, engaged and disengaged and now I'm to scared to drive home. Help!

so new years morning I find out my car has a cracked windscreen, covering about a quarter of the glass. So I've got comprehensive insurance with window coverage, but I think I have to pay like a grand in excess, which I really cant deal with. So does anyone know where to find a windscreen for a 33, how much prices are/ where I should buy from and if I should ditch using my insurance? plzzzzzz help

thats exactly what I thought. If I had some cheap crap car I'd be totally up for it. Hopefully I'd be ok though. Had some person try and T bone me through a roundabout once, after giving way I went through a gap and some idiot decided to floor it and honk at me. Now if I had a crappy car then that could have been a good opportunity to teach someone about fuel consumption and road accidents

One day I was driving home along sulwood drive, near one of the T intersections. This woman in an old falcon (I think) comes up to the intersection stops her car and spots me coming along. So obviously it seemed like she was giving way. except when there was a few meters distance between us she decides to pull out, this all happened in seconds and my reaction to the brakes was pretty quick. My foot was flat down and my car actually wouldn't stop fast enough and considering the islands around I couldn't move over. Luckily she did get across just in time for me to have a little room to move to the left without hitting the island or destroying her rear. I'll look into it. most stuff on a gts4 is unique for the car, when I had to get my hubs replaced it took like a month to find one for my model as the gtst ones are a different size

Good to know someone knows their bio. I'll order the parts as an early christmas present, find a bearing press and give it a go. Also does anyone know where I'd be able to find the steering rack end? it has to be specific for the gts4 and im wondering if its worth giving nissan a call

actually the labor worked out to be more than parts. I think I'll order the parts first, then consider doing it myself/getting help. but can someone explain the whole bearing situation; when someone says the bearings need to be pressed in, is that the bearings or the assembly? cause I read a thing on here before and im pretty sure the guy just jammed that stuff on

yeah the 330 was labor, but 105 is still even better than what I was shown. So do you know where I can find steering rack ends specifically for a gts4?

that would help heaps if someone could. So far Kasko is looking in to it. Basically 1 grand at the moment for my car just isn't worth it, which is pretty sad to say. The wheel alignments and stuff the car will need after can be done cheap, so thats not a problem
