  1. You going to install it your self? Its probably the only thing I have never done my self, will more than likely get GT Autosound to do the install.
  2. The problem i found when trying to find a 'Factory Upgrade' alarm was that you get an alarm but no immobilization. If you want an alarm with an immobilizer you will have to go full after market and loose the functionality of the buttons on the standard key.
  3. It's really up to the workshop when it comes to aftermarket parts, if they choose to put them back then it's a win for you. I had the benefit of knowing what was on the car before shipping so parts had to be put back.
  4. Parts were removed for compliance and re fitted after. Purchased the car through Chef, compliance work done by japlink. I will prob go down and see how I go but like to be prepared as far as being able to swap what ever I need to get it through. May just go down the road of coilovers now, was going to be an eventual mod but would have preferred getting my 19's first
  5. Well they have a concrete block you have to drive over when over the pit at regency but I'm sure they would pull out the ruler if need be. As for the ID check, they don't measure at all but if it looks too low they won't pass it and you will have to come back. No fine but just the hassle.
  6. I always thought importmonster did that job for you... I have been meaning to get in touch with Jease, chasing some floor mats
  7. Low. Top of tyre to edge of guard is about 15-20mm max.
  8. Why thank you... Mine came with Impul springs but with the Impul kit its super low and there is no way i will get through the ID check with it as it is...
  9. Any one able to post some shots of there M35 fitted with BC's? Shots of the fitment rather than ride bight would be great, love to see how they are height adjustable in the rear being a separate spring/shock set up. Mike.
  10. Hey Guys n Gals, Chasing some parts for my interior, some pre damages, 1 piece I broke... Looking for the pocket that goes where the factory DVD player was, mine had an aftermarket unit and they butchered the pocket. Also the upper center consol, with pocket and cover, they tore the lid to the cover to fit a monitor. Now for the back, the black trim in the boot, drivers side, cracked during a fit of frustration. Also the beige trim above it, drivers side, near rear glass and the beige piece on the roof that attaches. Thanks, Mike.
  11. Any one know of some one wrecking an M35 in SA, I'm chasing a couple of interior parts... Mike.
  12. Ya ya, a Legalis (sorry if spelling is incorrect
  13. Looks awesome, sent him an email about doing my dump and front pipe as well as a *cough* cat pipe.
  14. I have not, do you mean stall the motor or stall it up as in foot on brake and gas? Sorry if that sounds stupid. Lol.
  15. Gauge still doesn't move, just sits there at zero. Even from a standing start and nailing it which you would think would activate the gauge doesn't. It does engage the front wheels as there is no loss of traction but I'm unsure if it's just running all the time or working as per norml. Also not sure if the gauge it's self is also faulty, will have to trace the wires back and see.
  16. Well my 4WD light is on and I have done the MIL light diagnostic and got 0000 so I thought I would move on to the Altessa computer as it directly controls the 4WD. Some of the C34 guys spoke about a diagnostic program for the altessa that works for them, not sure if there is one for the M35. Also want to check that everything is wired up properly. Mike.
  17. I know there is a diagnostic mode for the ECU on the M35 but is there one for the Altessa computer? If so does any one know how to access it and where it is to begin with? Cheers, Mike.
  18. Hey Andy, Gave that a crack and just got 0000, so back to square one as to why the light is on. On another note the torque split gauge just reads zero all the time? Cheers.
  19. Thanks for the tips, i would normally check m35info but the page does not work on iPads, cant even login. Car is great, no real issues as yet... Spent all day removing the aftermarket DVD/Sat Nav/Monitor and ALL the wiring that went with it: Then moved over to the drivers side where i found some wires which seem to lead to know where and others which i am having some trouble identifying what they are and why they are there... These two parts were under the drivers side dash, 1 marked with Nissan and the other blank, not sure if they are standard or a factory upgrade. This was not plugged into anything, found under the dash with a random wire spliced in: wired back to this (it wires into a relay which is plugged into the harness which attaches to the seat belt and the air bag sensor): This is another aftermarket feature, it seems to be wired into a stock location but the switch is not standard, my thoughts are that the driving lights were put in after and they couldn't be bothered getting the standard switch: Also found this button which seems to do nothing:
  20. Ok I'll check it out. Got the car back to Adelaide with the light on, we replaced what we could mechanically so what ever the problem is it's electrical... How do I do a diagnostic check? Where is the blinking light? I assume on the ECU it's self? Cheers. Mike.
  21. Na, you can see the bulb behind the reflector and inside the globe is a rod instead of a normal wire...
  22. I thought you may say that... The car is fitted with HID's and they seem to give of a pink light...
