  1. i have a target of 350rwhp from a rb25det. Just wondering what is the optimal size (diameter) pipe work to run. so what is the smallest i could do it for optimal response and valocity befor it becomes a restriction to my target.
  2. ive got an oil pressure gauge hooked up to my rb25det. What im interested in is what good opertation tempreture and pressure is best. The way i look at it now is when its safe to start reving out gears. when the oil is cold the pressure with move high and rappedly so if i go to put my foot down it will shoot to or past 100psi, so i know that the oil prob is not at a good pressure or temp to protect my engine yet. So at the other end of the scale 0 psi i know that i have a big oil leek and can stop befor damage. So if any one has experiance say track work were you whatch oil pressure and temp and can offer better info then my crued understanding that would be great. -im interested in the rb25 so anything that relates to pressure and temp of oil in these engine would be good. cheers.

    greedy plenums

    thanks heaps guys. yea was looking for info as, with cams for the rb25 people have pick up on the common jap commbo so i am looking to do the same but with the greddy plenum so to speak. Its a part that doesnt gain on the dyno but could make a quicker car buy response and heat soak just interested to see if its popular or worth while on the jap scene. What i can gather is it is but the mod takes place toward the end. im realy aiming for 380rwhp but am coming across alot of small problems including a vacum leek that cant be found and looks like the plenum will come off and new gaskets and hoses installed. Loking at the price of these plenums they seem to have droped and i could get one for a 1000 or just under, so now would be the time but ive still got stock cams and exhaust manifold which seem to be done befor a plenum upgrade.

    im just interested to know if up grading the stock plenum on a rb25det is a popular upgrade in japan or do they hold strong to the nissain engineering of the stock iteam?

  8. hey muz i brought it, ive got it on my car now. i may be selling it because may be going external gate setup, so ill let ya know. (yea it will bolt up no mod)

  11. hey can you fined out if a turbo with a .7ar comp housining will fit with out hitting manifold. as to get my turbo to fit on the stock manifold i had to cut the heat sheld and angle grind the thrid runner a bit back.

  13. i dont know all the specks off hand but, 3'' inlet and wheel, .7ar compressore and .63ar exhaust housing. Its from I.T.S they rate it at 530ps. any info on performance with up graded turbos on stock manifolds would be helpful, cheers.
  14. my 044 is wired like sk said with a fuse at the battery also earthed straight to the chassis. the ecu prims the pump for about 3 seconds which is easily herd before ignition will kick over it over (autronic). ive never had a problem with this set up
  15. looking for infomation from people using turbos with .63AR rear housing on a stock rb25det manifold. Just things like response, lag, power that the combo offeres. reason being is I have just bolted on and internal gate to4e turbo onto my stock manifold and have found that i dont get any real action (boost, say over 12psi) until 4500-5000rpm. i have a few reasons as to why this is happening, one (the main reason) is my dump pipe mite not be lining up perfectly to the custom flange and over laping the exhaust wheel buy 2 or so mm restricting flow. SO im thinking of going external gate with a manifold, with a new dump, and wanted to see what was possible if i just got a new dump made for the current stock manifold set up. cheers
  16. yep they are the same , when i ordered my sard injectors the part numbers are the same. from factory i think there just different cc .

  20. be differnt go the cams there cheaper and know one does it. I want to see how a stock turbo camed car goes. Would be cool to get mid to high 12's and say yea im still running stock turbo. plus you shouldnt have to upgrade injectors with cams, were's if ya get a turbo, to get a good gain you would have to upgrade to be safe.

  23. hey merlin if your after the 265'6 ill buy the 235's. since the 265's are more pricy we'll divide the $1050 acordingly. im dead keen if partys will agree.
