the wife is only driving from Narangba(forest ridge near the BP on oakey flat road) to just near chooks matilda which is on old gympie road in the narangba industrial area near the highway so the traffic she sees is well.. none.. except the traffic lights at narangba station even on a good burn down the highway we have not got over 460 to a tank we run shell V power if that makes a difference I was thinking it may have been the coolant temp sensor I believe it is called, I have read a few of the bad fuel economy threads and they seem to say it is usually the o2 sensor.. a dirty AFM or the coolant sensor or a heavy right foot the only other thing i can think of it being is a dead cat? as it is still running the stock standard exhaust system and the AC doesn't work(needs a regas i guess)

where is the best/cheapest place to get the coolant temp sensor that makes the R33s use lots of fuel?? we have changed the o2 sensor and done a 100k service and ive cleaned the AFM and all that fun stuff but its only getting 400km MAX(usually around 350km) per tank and the wife drives from forest ridge over to the highway and back again (works in the narangba industrial area near chooks matilda) so its not like it gets a flogging or has to battle stop start traffic so should be getting better fuel economy and what other things could cause our problem?? thanks Brenden

well its a big shop that sells air cleaners and other filters of all kinds for everything from tractors to trucks to cars and motorbikes, if they dont have it im sure they would know where to find it, from what guys have told me they are real friendly good knowledgable people

does that big filter shop at brendale do the replacement filter media for the HKS type pods?? the one Kremzow Road apparently they are quite cheap for both oil and filters of all kinds
