  1. Yeah will check first Cal and then I might grab it off ya if it's the CAS. It started perfect yesterday before I drove it to site. So will try this arve and see. Haha I just finished making a box bugger. So nah thanks for the offer though. Will just go a nice apexi power funnel I think nice and stubby.
  2. Yeah gotta get rid of it. Did have a k&n but it rubbed on the bonnet so think I'll just get an apexi. Yeah once my consult arrives I will check timing on start up. Will try and start this arve to see if starts up straight away like yesterday
  3. Yeah thought of that previous. Cleaned the afm and made sure there was minimum amount of oil in the filter. Started this morning fine?? I have no idea.
  4. Also this morning crimped the fuel line could even hear it back pressuring the pump. No difference. Going to buy a consult and plug it up when I get back from roster.
  5. Yeah sounds like same issue. Could be separate fault though. Tps should be 0.4v to 4v at WOT according to manual. But that's not that far off. What about o2 sensor? Cleaned/resoldered pins on the afm? Checked for boost leaks?
  6. My 32 gets around 500km to the light on highway and around 400 around town. Frontmount, 3" turbo back, 10psi,
  7. Sounds like we are in the same boat. I only hard wired it because I developed a sputter at 2k. Have u checked tps?
  8. Well afaik it's supposed to keep some head pressure as the fuel filter has a check valve to keep prime there. And yeah I don't think injectors are to fault as fuel consumption is normal and wot + high load pulls are fine. But I will look at testing them or replacing them when I get back to townsville

  10. Yeah I found one of my injector top o-rings was split so I resealed them all. Could be a possibility of a dribbling injector but it's holding fuel pressure not certain how much will have to test over night to see drop rate. But could be. And their not 550cc looks top be standard red tops p.o. Bullshitted me. And yeah when I get back to Townsville I'm going to plug in a consult and check timing when it's doing it
  11. Also noticed the idle sticks at 1000 rpm sometimes. Only when it drops down the 700 were its set that it starts playin up
  12. Ok so cold start issue is still there not as bad though just cranks for a while then fires once or twice and stalls then if I hold it on start and crank it through the first few cylinders it's ok
  13. Looks like it finally. Will see how it starts in the morning. Still hunting and running a bit rough at idle but it seems to settle occasionally with the a/c off. Also the surging is still there. On the first few pulls when it's cold it has absolutely nothing until it hits boost then it hits it hard. After the first 2 or so pulls its fine. Nice gentle transitions to boost.
  14. Haha yeah it's getting to the bonfire level. Ok so I dodgy rewired the earth with some 3mm from super cheap and the hesistation is gone at 2k. Will wait till the morning to see how it starts. Idle still hunts around 100rpm and has got a slight miss so could be fpr still? Tps set to 0.4v at idle and 4 at wot

  17. Well I don't have anything with me ATM to check the tps again as I'm in Mackay for inductions. But it's definitely set to 0.4v to 4v. I've also noticed another sympto that's only just started, when i drive it cold , she sometimes misses until the first sign of boost or i give it more then 20% or so throttle then it's ok but it doesn't like driving at partial throttle occasionally. I've only noticed this since I replaced the o2 sensor but at the same time i played with the tps so im hoping fpr, maybe injectors running less pulse width cause of altered fuel maps = more fuel fighting fpr? Which bring the issue on just before boost? I dunno clutching at straws here. But it drove for 400km last night no worries

  20. Ok so took it for a drive today for an hr or so. Hesitation between 2-3k is gone since i readjusted the tps back to how it was (0.4v at idle, 3.97v at WOT) But now the idle is fluctuating and i can't adjust the aac. So i think ill just buy a new TPS and AAC and see what happens
  21. In Townsville. And no i haven't tried another ecu yet. Thats the strange thing even with the throttle held open it still struggles to fire for the first few revolutions, then once it fires a few cylinders it picks up. Otherwise with the throttle at idle it takes about 5-10 revolutions of missing before it picks up to normal idle otherwise it stalls then will fire and run to idle straight away on next turn of the key.

  23. Thought i would keep this going as a record. So far i have Replaced the IAC Cleaned the AAC Checked for boost leaks and replaced a few hose clamps Resealed the injectors Replaced the fuel filter Replaced the fuel lines Replaced the fuel pump Replaced the vacuum hose Adjusted the tps to 0.4 at idle and 3.97 at WOT Thought about setting it on fire Bought some petrol Removed the turbo timer Removed the immobilizer Replaced the o2 sensor with a new ford el type Replaced the spark plugs with BCPR6E -11 gapped to 0.8mm And still nothing. I played with the tps again yesterday and moved it a heap out of wack. I found that it would start beautifully but between 2-3k rpm it would splutter and stall. So i would assume that the idle was switching around there. With that i would say it is a TPS issue?
  24. Hey guys I'm heading to Mackay on Thursday and was changing plugs today an one of my coil pack connectors (brown type) has shattered. So I'm in need of either a replacement plug or a spare harness I can borrow for a carton for the next week. Pm me or I think most of u have my ph number
  25. Will need a few taps to get off. And dw about the crank as long as u arent getting it red hot it will be fine. Or do it JVS way
