  1. Cracked head/block would be your next bet. Did your mechanic crack test the head while he had it off? Also what caused the oil in coolant, cooked?

  5. Is it just me or has it fallen in the ass here lately?
  6. Haha tell me about it. When the engine is stone cold when i start the engine the first 2-3 seconds it sputters and farts around 200-300 rpm. Occasionally it will stall out and need a re-start. If i jab the throttle after i've started it and while its sputtering it revs up then returns to a normal cold idle. Ive checked the tps and adjusted it to 0.45v idle and at max it only goes to 4v. Coolant sensor is 2k at cold and haven't had the chance to check it at operating temperature. Has a known working cold air valve and idle is set to 600rpm as per manual. Had it set to 900 but made no difference. Have cleaned the IAC and the AFM. Resoldered the AFM pins. Replaced the fuel filter and lines. Replaced all the vac hoses and boost hoses. Any ideas?
  7. hey jez Still has the same issue. Checked the tps again had to adjust it very slightly it was n 0.42 volts at idle. At WOT its only one 4v. Is that acceptable?
  8. Diesel piston. Chamber creates a swirl increasing the dispersion of the fuel through the air. It also controls the flame front alot more. I will try and find a pictures of this s2000 crank that snapped. Think 5" crank nose snapped clean.

  13. Haha yeah. Really want this bike going and i decided against doing a dodgy on the bonnet. So once the bikes running and i have another mode of transport im going to put the 32 on stands and start getting serious.

  16. Hi all, Got a full carbon fibre r32 gtr grill here. Looks awesome but have decided to wait till I fit the gtr front. $150 ono. I can ship no worries. Will get photos tonight. Also got a Gfb plumb back bov to suit rb20. Comes with adapter. Went oem instead. Again can ship no worries. $30? Ono
  17. Yeah i agree Rob. The larger cruises seem to start the ego pump up.
  18. Issue has reared its ugly head up. So i thought id replace the Cold air idle controller which didn't work when i supplied voltage to it. Fitted a known working one and still has the same issue. Any ideas?

  21. Could be incorrect flare style. If you can still move the hard line when it's tight then the to flare faces aren't mating. Check that the correct flare has been used to make the hose against the hard line flare. Otherwise it could be that your hard pipe flare is fingered.
