  1. never heard if it before........ something to consider even tho the likelyhood isnt great. all M35's have an auto/park/low beam setup ? if so could the auto selection be shorting out on something ie: you had foggies and they cut the wires and they are shorting out...... but this should blow the fuse not mess up the ECU. also the power consumption of the headlights shouldnt have enough of a serge to make the car stall, but in saying that maybe a coilpack is playing up? (just another idea) also check ur relays there could be a damaged one. maybe an auto electrician can tell you more............. i usually play with 240V not 12V cheers, Theo.
  2. really, didnt know that yeah the box is similar
  3. just bought a BNC airfilter for her cheep as, straight of the shelf from autobarn ROFL only $100 and their better than K&N!!!!!
  4. u should just be able to go to any brake place and they can make up a custom line for you with different fittings both sides if need be, its around the $30 per line for the rubber ones and braided more obviously.
  5. come on share the secret which fuse do you pull out so u can do RWD burnouts ???
  6. the story goes like this........ i signed that papers for a 1999 C34 RS4 - padde shift, full leather etc etc about 4years ago................ anyways the car went to go somewhere for a service or whatever (before delivery to me) next thing i know i get a phone call saying the 4wd system had been trashed and was gonna cost like $6000-$7000 so they then didnt want to sell me the car (they also had a battle over who was going to pay for it them or there guy's in japan) anyways long story short they tryed to palm me off a lower spec car for the same deal i told them to go shove it and we cancelled the contract and i got my money back luckily enough. this time around i went to have a look again, whilst being there the salesman took out a guy in a legnum and funily enough comes back with a broken front CV. anyways i looked over the NM35 AXIS and wasnt impressed with the overall condition but what got me was this and i quote "you cannot take this car out for a test drive without first putting a deposit on the car" im like u gotta be kidding if u think im gonna put down a deposit to buy the car without first going for a test drive or getting the car checked out. so i told them to go shove it. ** side note the salesman always goes with u for the test drive........................... and personally i cant stand Phil he just seems like a slimebag. but back to Ben @ NSPM........ i was gobsmacked when Ben through me the keys and said go for a test drive and let me go alone for a strap!!! KUDO's
  7. golden AAHAHAHAA
  8. i like these cllips cos they have a screw head and are easily removable without breaking them, the cost is 82cents each. and the rubber for 500mm was $1.52 (im sure u can get these from any autobarn/scotts auto one etc if not PM me and i'll get them from my contact) ordinarily i dont have the time to make these into production, its only cos i'm unable to work atm due to medical issues. i could sell the template but whats the point really it'll just get passed on anyways.
  9. did that cheers guys....... i could just scan the template for you guys
  10. took me fricken ages (a period over 3 days....... probly 8hrs) first a carboard template of the bottom (airbox etc) , then a carboard template of the bonnet (top). made the final one out of 0.9mm metal, put the rubber strip on the top.......... then to finish it off rubbed vaso on the rubber and closed the bonnet, any highs would leave vaso on the bonnet and tweaked it untill perfect rubber ontop of the metal strip but no rubber on the bonnet......... could use some foam with double sided tape on the bonnet but i dont think there is a need to.
  11. finished fabricating the piece for the airfilter box today, cost under $20 in materials but the time i spent in fab. i could have just bought the thing from nissan LOL. still gotta paint it so it doesnt stand out like dogs balls.
  12. excatly having a disc that is to big is going to make braking worse if u can't keep the temperature in the disc's and pads............. they have a minimum operating temperature so going to big is just stupid!!!
  13. my oppinion, '*********' are a bunch of wankers especially the owner/manager ****............. ive found his cars to be of poor quality. thats why i bought mine from 'Northshore Prestige Motors', Ben is a great bloke to deal with and their cars are of a higher standard. 18. ive got the AXIS 18" rims im sure they will clear the callipers or is it the offset thats wrong??? cos i have a custom 324mm disc with RX7 S6 4spot callipers on my 808 wagon and i run a 16" rim.
  19. ok i lost all the info i put together and had to do it again LOL same sized brake pad for all R32/R33/R34 and 350Z with the brembo's.... R32 GTR disc is 296x32mm with height of 54mm R33/R34 GTR disc is 324mmx30mm with height of 53.8mm 350Z brembo's is 324mmx30mm with height of 49mm
  20. whats the pad size difference between these 2 setups ???
  21. ok cos im bored and still not back at work yet......... you guys are talking about a 324mm disc with a width of 30mm and the PCD is 5X114.3 correct ??? according to Dba there are 2 different overall heights that can be used (ie changing offset of the calliper - correct me if im wrong) these 2 heights are: 49mm and 53.8 - now i cant see what car these 2 disc's come off, but im sure a quick call with the part numbers would sort that out. actally its just easier to post my findings with a pic............................
  22. i got the "is that a volvo???" the second day of owning the car................. i thought it was ROFL worthy didnt think it would happen that soon.
  23. u dont know wanna know how much ive spent on my mazda 808 wagon thats still sitting in the garage....... still preping it for paint atm then it'll be almost ready!!! ive delt with the fact that i spend heeps of money on cars, thats why i drove a sh!tbox VT bombidore for 6 years cos i knew i would never have the erge to mod it but alas ive finally circum to my lust of the stagea ive had for the last 3 years and took the leep and bought one.
