Well it was a rainy day didn't stop at all, well not enough to even dry the track out but went out and had fun anyways managed to keep it on the black stuff and had no spins. had about 8 little moments but was a great learning curve, not sure on time's ill have to go through the footage but didn't break any records the car ran great all day, temps were spot on 80 water and 100 oil. didn't have to worry about tyres but got the brakes nice and toasty a couple of times as i was doing to many consecutive hot laps HAHA might looking into some better exiting ducts for the oil coolers by chopping up the front guards. here are a couple of pic's will get the footage up later. -

02 Stagea M35 Oh Great Guru's I Need Your Help!
WAGON_BOY replied to AndyNZ1973's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Don't know how much info we have here on that motor as all the Stagea in Australia are mainly the VQ25DET or VQ35DE, maybe ask as well on a V35 skyline forum. also other cars that came out with this motor are: A33 Cefiro, Cedric/Gloria. maybe change the thread tile to include VQ25DD for better results. -
Na mate just need to sell parts to make up for money I've lost due to people not paying for repairs to front bars but seriously they're just sitting here in a box going to waste as I changed my mind and put the akebono's on mine. the FD is going really well actually

Hello and welcome!!! looks good with the R34 wheels. Now you just need some nice R32 GTR front Sumitomo calipers to fit behind them wheel's Nice little upgrade, (296mm x 32mm) better than the stock items that tend to warp easily. I have some for sale if you want some and can also get a hold of the caliper brackets to suit.

Was a damn shame I missed this, with both sleeping in and my calendar reminder not set properly I got the reminder 10 min's before the event "Solid mounting of diff cradles also increases rigidity in a way that's detrimental (for the gearbox? or drive train more generally?), so make especially sure you use a sprung center clutch if you have a solidly mounted diff cradle." This is good to know as I've just fitted a diff craddle and will be putting in the g'box brace in soon too, guess with the brass button clutch this is going to destroy my gearbox prematurely. JOY hahaa -

Also decided to remove the headlight and fit a 100mm air duct into the air box Finally got round to fitting my diff brace, started raining and the carport got flooded so didn't have time to get the gearbox brace in AND managed to pick up a RE Amemiya AD9 Bonnet for a good price second hand so jumped on that too!!! anyways hoping to get back to the track on the 14th of April down at Wakefield again. -

Then I wanted to get the oil breathing problem sorted gave my Fab guy 2 weeks to get it done and he left it till the last minute and in the end didn't make the deadline to get to Texi Didn't have enough time to get the car done and then also found out I forgot to factor in the air intake pipe when placing my fittings. but we did manage to roll the rear guards to be able to fit my Stock Stagea rims with 4yr old 595's begging to get smoked up ahh well there's always next time. -

Then on the 10th of Feb I went down to Wakefield the car ran really well besides having oil breather issues and lost about 200mil of oil through out the day. (Time to fit a catch can) was really good to get a feel of the car my P.B was a 1:14 then after lunch I took John Boston for a few laps got some pointers and then sat in the b*tch seat. Boz loved how grippy the car was and how nice it was to drive - Boz managed a 1:12. Vid's to follow. -
