Im also interested in whats involved. Also are s14 and r33 rotors and the 4 pot calipers from either the same (as in size, diameter)??? They look it. Do i source s14 hubs or R33 hubs??? Do you need the lower control arms from an s14/r33 to do the front hubs?

I got those lights too!! But the funny thing is that i have different headlights! Most Cefi's have the 3 lense SILVIA type lights, with the orange foggy, drivers light, and high beam. Mine only have the orange foggy and the drivers/highbeam in the one unit... !

Wanted A31 : --Cef power window AMP/Relay box... Preferably rear passenger/drivers box. It sits inside the doorframe, just under the door handle. Its black, about 6cm x 5cm. And has p/wndw AMP with a part no on it. My drivers side rear window doesnt work... swapped the amp/relay box with the passenger rear and it works ok. I sourced an J30 maxima but that doesnt work, plugs are the same, but has the actuall window switch IN the box. Yes ive sourced r31/32/33/j30/s13/14 all are different....!! arghh I need one!! Anybody have one??? ----Also im searching for the CLEAR parking/indicator side lenses. Mine are all orange!! The one im after has clear parkers, with orange indicator bulby thing!! ---and also need front bumper bar indicators. VIC prefered. I pay KESH Yes ive tried Megalla.

Just rang the Engineer (vic) for 1988 Vehicles in VIC no high mount stop lamp is required, or an VIN/Chassis plate. For cars after 1989 then it IS required.

Thanks guys. Yeah goes well. Exhaust is hella loud without the silencers, goes like pooh with the silencers in though LSD is the shiznit, not sure what type it is, it has slight preload when turning. Front bar is a bit munted from gutters and what not. The only thing i really need to replace are the steering rack boots, couple bushes, and rear main seal. Chassis is remarkably straight. yeah that black box i have the part no, so ill ring up nissan and get them to match it.

Ive purchased an 1998 Import thru XXX importers in VIC. It has been engineered for compliance to ADRS (intrusion bars, ulp filler , belts etc). .... however the importers have not supplied the VIN/CHASSIS plate. There is the japanese blue one, but not the Australian one. I spoke to the compliancer and he states that it is not needed for an 1988 car!?! I thought all road vehicles are to have this plate!? Or do Vicroads supply it after reg? Because i rang Vicroads and they said if my car was built in 1989 then Canberra would have to approve the import and they would send down the VIN plate, but for cars that are built in 1988 it is not needed!? But again this is from one guy at vicroads, the next guy could say something else. Does anybody here have an 1988 import? and do you have the Aussie vin/chassis plate???

Course u can drift in an auto. Your delusional if you think that you cant. In a commodore theres no reason why you cant, appart from the diff. Lock it or get an LSD and practice. You can skate anything rwd, as long as it has an LSD

Recirc bovs also help reduce emissions, similar to your egr valve, an recirc bov constantly recircs your compressed air, as most oem ones open up even in vacuum. Appart from that, theres plenty stock ca18det, e15t, rb30et, fj20t's still running about, and they dont have any oem bovs.

Yes it will cause backfires runngin Bovless (afm/maf takes double reading) no it wont stall the car.

Course it can be reset. It will revert to factory base settings, which means it will run slightly more advanced timing and run a tad rich. The 'flat' spot wont be cured with an ecu reset, as it will eventually go back to this initial setting. Check plugs, timing etc if he has a flatspot.
