I am looking for a GTR i did see this one and what turned me away was the availability to get a decent inspection due to where you live, Im in NSW so plane tickets up to u would be around $500 each way and then i cant seem to find any decent performance mechanics in the area to check it. so to me it would be a 40k punt (total cost of transport rego and insurance ect) That gives u a perspective from a buyers point of view, hope that can shed some light for you. I took a 45k punt on my last one that i got from Tasmania and i blew the engine the week i got it home, so this makes me wary.

Well guys, this is me signing off for now, as some of you know my GTR was written off last Saturday night on old pac due to a roo jumping out on a corner me swerving to miss it and losing control of the car. I was not hurt at all just my wallet, taken a loss of around 20k on this. Not going to be getting another one i dont think and probs wont be getting another skyline unless i can find an absolute beauty (would be an R34 GTT). Yeh im gona give redline a shot, i think ppl that are not having a good time with it are using the wrong oil, i suspect they are not using the superlight weight oil, but the light weight or heavy one.

its ur price, a GTT is not worth that in todays market, you drop down to 14k it will sell, my m8 sold his GTT for 12k in 3 days as i said b4 with no rego in VIC.

For the 6 speed Getrag the redline site says to use Superlight shockproof oil, not the light shockproof but im torn as to use the royal purple or the redline. How much oil will i need for an oil change?

The redline site says to use the Redline Superlight Shockproof specifly for the R34 Getrag, and im assuming its the royal purple syncromax.

Hmm i have been told that the redline stuff is better then the royal for the box, interesting more research is required.

Im looking at changing the box oil in my R34, not sure what i should use, have been told redline is the shit for them?

The drive home was amazing, my m8 witht he go pro forgot to charge it so we only got the 1st 15min of the drive on it, getting the flyby that i did on the group put up soon. also got some in car vid from the drive back with the R35 in front of me.

hehehe, i was in the group that went down putty from newcastle, was an epic day.
