The V is not worth as much as most people are trying to sell it for, when you look at it the skyline brand attracks younger males in there 20s, and they dont have a lot of cash to splash, i paid 19k for my 03 with 76000km in feb, when i was looking i was not going to pay for 20k for a auto. If its a manual then it is deff worth more probable around 22-24k but dont expect more then that unless you have turbo/supercharger kitted it.

Hey i kind of have the same issue, had a hub cap roll over the F3 today get hit by a 4x4 flung uder a truck then smashed to bits the sprayed out over my front bar, paints is gone, i could just repaint but i think ill replace it rather then paint the stock bar cauz its chiped from the blastic barage.

Yeh i bought my own kit as i didnt want to pay $500 for one as you can get them for around $330 on ebay. Im not worried about the xtrons it has been great so far, i saved $1700 so even if it does not las as long still a huge saving.

not sure how many it has tbh. there is a proper site for them google xtrons, may have to ask there support.

Mark i would sugest checking out ebay and getting a din replacement from ebays, you can get em for like 100 bucks for just the face, also i have a non prem v 2003 are the speakers in front and rear the same size? im thinking i might get some pioneers installerd.

The only thing that i can see that needs to be fixed its the face plate that i bought i need to shave some plastic off the bottom so the head unit can open without me lifting it a few mill up as it catches on it but other then that its 100% and you can shave it down with a file the guys at NPS have a tool to do it also but didnt have it on the day.

Quality is great, i only have stock speakers no sub or amps so its as good as can be expected, the GPS works well have no complaints about it at all, im considering changing out my speakers and adding a sub but im not sure if its worth it tbh

Mine is not a prem edition it does not come with dual zone, its just reg 350GT cloth seats, if you want duel zone climat you will need to get the approprate buttons with the face plate. But the install is great works well, there was an issue with the face plate of the head unit it gets stuck on the double din kit when it opens i have to help it open but that is ezy fixed just need to shave a bit of plastic off the double din kit. other then that its 100%

They are very similar to my Vertinis same shape and spokes from what i can see they look great cant wait to lower mine its gona look hot.

Yep i keep all the stock gear, how it works is the head unit is pluged into the RCA input in the cars TV tuner, it does not work for TV but it does display the output from the head unit like an AV input for a VCR. There is a option on the TV section of the OEM screen called VTR or somthing like that it sets it to AV in short. It took the guys at NPS about 2 hrs to install it all i was lucky 1 of there guys had worked on the car b4 so he knew how to take it apart.

I had mine done at nissan i bought private for 19k same car as ur friend is getting, dealers are way to over priced, but Nissan at Artatmon did a pre purchase for $180, they checked everything all i got back was fan belts needed changing soon.

Hi Guys thought i would post up some pics of the new head unit and double din kit now that its all installed, i have working GPS and also video out while driving on 2 diff screens (OEM and head unit). If anyone wants any info on it send me a PM. All work was done by Newcastle pro sound at Jesmond.

Im going to have a new head unit put in this weekend so ill take a look when its pulled apart and check if this was the case it would be amazing, and i will 100% get it done

HI Guys just after a bit of info, i realy do not like the foot E break in the 5AT 2003 V35 that i have, i am wanting to know if anyone has thought/researched/done a conversion with it, I am looking to see if i can get a center console from a manual where the Ebrake is a hand one and install it into the auto, i know it may be expensive and have to re work the brake lines to it but if it is in the manual it should fit right?

Ok is there any way that i can find out what box i have? Or do i have to have it taken apart so i can find out, my V is a 2003 Semi auto 5 speed.

Not up on the central coast NSW, there is 2 on the whole coast, 1 is forsale and mine so if it sells from out of area ill be the only one

How would i find out if i have the RE5? and also what is the RE5 lol (feel like a total noob im guesing it is the gearbox)

Thanks for that, my issue atm is that if i get a kit and blow the head off the engine im gona be up the creek as its my only car lol. Im gona do suspension and gearbox (i have an auto so its slugish in the sifts and needs work) 1st then i might look at the SC kit.

Hmm i think the best option is going to be to get the nismo dash to keep the car looking clean on the inside and get the ECU flashed or replaced gona be expensive but will keep the car looking clean on the inside which is what i like.
