  1. as per previous post you may need some of this for hammer. and as per the -5's the guy a msg today is selling -7s, i think they may suit what i want better then the -5s also
  2. well lets all make a pact, if someone from SAU NSW wins they will build a race track and fit out the new club house all race spec and shit hahaha. If i was to win, 1 would 1st buy an appartment complex, live on in the penthouse and rent the rest of the building out, make the gorund floor my own personal garrage, or even have a 3 lvl basement, lvl 1 garrage, lvl 2 underground night club, lvl 3 carpark.
  3. thats the plan, for now im broke, ill have to borrow some cash from my dad till next pay (monthly pay) to buy them and have them put in, but if i can get them cheap then ill be saving like 2k. Im going to be putting a haltech platinum pro in it with injectors. So i figure if the turbos are rooted then i may as well spend a bit more and get a good set of -7/-5 for now depending on what i can find max out my injectors now and just deal with it till i get the ECU/injectors. I can get a set of stock GTR turbos for like $400 but ill find on on saturday whats going on with her.

Hey guys keep ur eyes out for a set of Garrett GT2860R -5 for me, looking to pay around $1500 for a 2nd hand set looks like thats the market price from past sales on the forums. just msg a guy about some -7s see how that goes, gona have to call apon the bank of thy father for this purchase if i get them lol.

  7. Yeh np ill take a few pics, i could be wrong maybe it holds it in place but i sware it has a vent on the side as i just took it out 30min ago, there is deffs something on the side of the airbox to.
  8. My box has this in it stock, has a vent on the side with an induction pipe into the fender also
  9. whats Paul charge for them? from the pic of ur car it looks good, also its similar to this one on just jap from what i can make out. http://justjap.com/s...416&cat=&page=1 I just pulled the intake hose out and airbox hose off the top AFM was clean but the bottom one that i could not get to looks like it has shit all over it on the outside, light was shining off like like it does a greasy bit of chicken..... gona have to take a intercooler pipe off so i can get to it to give it a wipe down and pull it out, that may have to wait till tonight or tomorrow. I wiped the top one down and the inside of the pipe and it was alot cleaner then the other day no where near as much oil was almost none in the top, i think i will also reset the ECU incase the tune it has learnt while doing the run in is causing issues as i didnt take it above 5k and now im giving it to it like i would a 18yr old pro.
  10. dont have the tools to do it properly atm since im at work not going to bother tho will just take it down to team K they are going to diagnose whats going on for me so we can fix it, they are not charging me to diagnose it either, but ill probable need an oil catch can to keep the oil out of the intake pipes and work out if its the turbos or not.
  11. Ok guys work ur magic, need a cheap oil catch can for the GTR that comes with all fitting and hoses.
  12. Oil starvation to the bottom end, spun 2 bottom end bearings.i thought it was running a little ritch before the rebuild also.

Yeh he told me to give the pipes a clean and the AFM to with the spray can cleaner, at lucn im going to get some paper towels and open the pipe and give it a wipe down around the AFM i dont have the tools to get to the one under the airbox, might have to park the car up at home and get the train for the rest of the week.
  15. stock ecu, not sure how much u can tune a stock ecu.... well if it will come on boost with the AFM off then i know thats the issue and i just have to work out why all this oil is in the pipes
  16. Well mine is suposed to be a farking specialist who has worked on these many times....... Team K Kustoms did the work the motor runs realy well the build is great on it even without it boosting properly it still has shit loads of power, im waiting on a call back from him atm, my main issue is the 20L of fuel it used to do 75km on the way to work..... i might try unplugging the AFM and see if it runs without them and comes on boost, after he cleaned them and changed the plugs yesterday it went like a rocket, he thinks the turbos may be spitting oil back up the intake pipes and coating them in shit so they are not reading correctly.

LMFAO THIS GUY BAHAHAHAH Yeh i was like dafuq is this plug for?????? the oil is all the way to the airbox, my mechanic changed the plugs cleaned the AFM and it boosted and ripped then like 40km later it stopped boosting again, it misses as it hits boost and boost does not come on but the MFD is reading boost to .9 bar so its all spooling and shiz. i have 2 plugs that are taped togeather behind the twin turbo pipe and 1 is plugged in and 1 is not.
  19. can anyone with a 34 GTR please confirm for me if the following plug should be plugged into anything, my mechanic seems to think the 02 sensors are fine, he thinks the cause is the oil in the intake pipe getting on the AFM causing it to not read properly and to fix this i need to change the turbos out............... im not to sure what to make of that tbh
  20. dear heavenly father. twin turbo be thy power, thy kingdom come, tuning will be done, as in aus as in japan. bring to this day four wheel drive and praise our power figures and forgive thoes with less power than us. keep us safe from the cops and deliver us from the under ground, for the GTR32 33 & 34 for ever and ever amen
  21. well, got half way home and guess what... no boost again..... how can i test the 02 sensor to see if its rooted or not?
  22. LOL, why is it so hard to have brakes fitted, 1. call GSL rally sport 2. wait 3 days for pads to arrive 3. call decent mechanic book car in 4 have pads installed. works 90% of the time 100% of the time this goes for all the other parts to just add them to step 1 and 2
