  11. CTP insurance provides compensation for other people injured in an accident when you or the person driving your vehicle is the driver at fault. Australia wide, 24 hours a day, your CTP insurance covers: your passengers other road users, such as drivers, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, motor cyclists and pillion passengers injuries caused through the use of a trailer It does not cover: you for personal injury if you are the driver at fault in an accident damage to property or other vehicles CTP Insurance is compulsory, and must be taken out when registering a motor vehicle. From the above, it will not go on your car, but rather driver experience (re: AGE), as well as the density of people and structures within your most common driving area, thus providing the chance (re: risk) of 3rd party accident (re: POSTCODE) i think a lot of people are lucky that it doesnt go on vehicle, driving history, etc....(then again - some are unlucky)
  12. Course i did !! although, got %$^$ called for work by the time we all arived at Kariong, so i had to scoot.... :cuss: the drive was good - a LOT longer than i thought, but i learnt something about my car....how deep in the red it can go petrol wise ! (didnt see a petrol warning light though..) Great to meet up with the Central Coast contingent, and put some faces to names... Hopefully will catch up again next weekend... just gotta remember - 1) more petrol next time 2) 265/35/18's and wet roads dont go, regardless of how the car handles !!
  13. Damn - hate it when im right !!! ill still be there though...
  14. Hey CS... CAme down to work early (Nth Ryde, 05:30), and it poured down the F3 the whole time.. Still a bit wet here, but drying up...
  15. Im in !!! (pushes all chips into cente of table !!) Will meet the local coasties boys though - according to Loz, its West Gosford Maccas, right ??
  16. jsut gotta say - this is a great topic... I have learnt much regarding turbos regarding this discussion.. And SO - it seems we are back to HKS spring rated actuators....
  17. Hey Jay... If its adjustable, then it seems to be a good buy !! Im definetely interested...
  18. Yep... Going on http://www.takakaira.co.jp/performance/main.html regarding the HKS Wastegates (whole unit) Depending on the strength and psi required, they start at about $700AUS... Still - it would eliminate boost fluctuations, as long as you are happy with that level of boost (as per Jay) Maybe a good option to get an 10-11psi HKS wastegate, and a good bleed valve for the other 2-3 variable psi...
  19. so - sorry for re-iterating, but im still a turbo noob... If you wished to up the boost on an R33 to 11 or 12psi, this could be acheived by installing an HKS wastegate actuator (rated to the appropriate boost, of course) instead of any bleed valves or EBC's ?? Only drawback (if you call it one) would be that you couldnt run any lower boost settings if you wished... Is this correct ??
