CTP insurance provides compensation for other people injured in an accident when you or the person driving your vehicle is the driver at fault.
Australia wide, 24 hours a day, your CTP insurance covers:
your passengers
other road users, such as drivers, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, motor cyclists and pillion passengers
injuries caused through the use of a trailer
It does not cover:
you for personal injury if you are the driver at fault in an accident
damage to property or other vehicles
CTP Insurance is compulsory, and must be taken out when registering a motor vehicle.
From the above, it will not go on your car, but rather driver experience (re: AGE), as well as the density of people and structures within your most common driving area, thus providing the chance (re: risk) of 3rd party accident (re: POSTCODE)
i think a lot of people are lucky that it doesnt go on vehicle, driving history, etc....(then again - some are unlucky)
