  1. have some genuine interest, but nothing concrete (ie deposit) yet...
  2. Hey Chris.. Depends on what the "chipped" ECU controls... Seems like from your dyno that the speed limiter was removed, and that possibly the fuel and ignition timing was also modded.. It really depends on the tuner, and also tuning points available. From your sheet, too hard to do a comparison to say a power FC or SAFC..
  3. ...it seems weird to me as well.. Regardless of the power you are making, your A/F ratios are...um...pretty damn good for a stock ECU (if that is your AFR's..) I know the 1.5's had some good learning ECU's - but its still a bit hard to swallow.. If the figure is true, i would say just by looking at that dyno that you have some sort of engine management - PowerFC, SAFC... The graph is too perfect.. Rigga's dyno is more believable, with a chipped ECU...powerFC would iron out those dips !!
  4. some nice bit of doco 78vbsle ...ill be sure to keep it in mind.. If i do get done, ill definetely be asking for the photo.. fyi guys - he was in one of the white stationwagons...there couldve been a blue swingy sign saying camera in use...however with the extreme fog it wasnt visible..
  5. sounds good - thanks phatpat... Just have wait for the glossy photo, i suppose..
  6. Mitch.. The rule doesnt affect those already on their P's.. however, if you get your licence canned after 11th July it will... The rule majorly affects those applying for their P's after 11th July... Bottom line guys - laws are made for the majority of the population....like anything there are exceptions. Grab a random sample of 100+ under 18 drivers and test 'em - guaranteed to be worse than any other driving age group...unfortunately a fact. Im not condoning the rule or the thinking - just "layin' it out for y'all to play it out...
  7. yep - will definetely post it up Adam !! And now, for the waiting game.. :goddam:
  8. ...also add to the fact that - although it was driven 30k's... Ill bet you the guy(s) didnt warm the car up first, they thrashed the hell out of it while still cold...turbo spooling, etc etc...and THEN went high speed !! Im sure the oil pressure wouldve been great for those 30k's...
  9. Hi Cogs.. Ive seen sindows NA R33, and its a great example if you are after a clean car...
  10. yea not really sure - im just thinking that if my car was the only one to show up, it may be clocked at the speed the other guys were driving at... is there anything about fog, line of sight, or rules/etc about operating speed cameras in obscured sitatuons ?? I know that you have to have the sign out when you are operating the speed camera - so if its foggy, wouldnt that be negated ?
  11. Hey Guys.. On the F3 this morning, i had this scenario.. (3 lane highway section) *Driving doing about 105 in the 90 zone, right hand lane (plenty of traffic, 05:45 am this morning) *Two guys right up my arse - so i pull over into the middle lane to let them go *Slowing down to about 99km - the two guys pass me doing about 110km.. *As they pass, one flash from the side of the road - i slam the brakes on, slow down to about 95km.. *Second flash as the other guy passes me.. The thing im wondering is this cop was in the far left section of the road - in the fog - without a sign (as far as i can tell, but cant testify to this) so as far as im concerned im between him and the two guys speeding past me.. SO - does the camera and flash reach across three highway lanes, or does it focus on only the closest two ? and if so, would the speed recorded be my own or the speed of the two clowns whizzing past me ?
  12. BUMP...will also swap for 1-2k daily driver plus cash adjustment...
