Hi Sumo.. Actually, you can order this part directly from Nissan. I cant remember the part numbers, but if you do a search on the forums its here somewhere.. From memory it cost me about $40...there are two brackets (and hence two part numbers) Cheers, Matt

Yea i know about the copper - main reason i wanted to go the iridiums is because i can change them way less frquently.. My intercooler piping crosses the block, so i have to disconnect it everytime i change the plugs... So to go iridiums, it will save me time and $$ in labour...they last about 100k.... Looks like ill be going the BKR6EIX's...

Yep - i just heard back from Repco.. BKR7EIX - not available, according to ngk - they only make them in BRK7EIX-11, which are gapped to 1.1m...and ngk dont recommend re-gapping iridiums... BKR6EIX - available, $24 each..... So - for the iridiums pre-gapped to .8m, i think i have to go 6's....

allrighty then - looks like im hearing a bit of support for the 7's.. Well ill actually do a correction - i am runing stock boost levels, but with the full exhaust and intercooler its actually running about 8psi at WOT (acording to boost gauge).. But - thanks for the replies guys - 7's it is.

...so if i went 6's now would they also do for when i up the boost to 12psi ??

Yep - big thanks to Brett for the organising...a top day !! (Until i had to leave for work.. :bscreen: ) Best was a lowly 14.067@101 - with the mph i was trying to get about a 13.8 but to do that i would need to do better with the 60 foot (which was 2.189) !!.. :goddam: Too scared to do a 4k-5k launch with the big drive ahead of me going home together with a full day of drags... if i had more runs, who knows - but 13 runs in the first half of the day was still pretty good - then hop in the car and drive home to the Central Coast !! To quote the Governor of California.. "ill be back.."

Hey All.. Im looking at getting the iridium plugs (pre-gapped at .8mm), but it seems after searching that people use different heat ratings.. What is the recommended range for a car that would be pushing about 200RWKW in the future ?? I would think the BKR6EIX would be the go - however, if anyone thinks the BKR7EIX i would like to hear...

ive got a hks pod, and ive had the car for about 22k now (over about 5 months...) Daily driver on the F3, so the car (and intake) sure get a workout.. I replace the filter element every 10k (Autobarn, $65 - usually order in) and yes they are pre-oiled. I have also regularly checked the intake pipe and AFM, and i cant say that there is an exsessive amount of dirt, crap, etc getting through.. Like anything, regular maintanence is a good preventative measure if you are worried. All pods are going to allow more airflow (and hence more particles) than the stocker paper filter (more flow = less restriction) - so if you are super worried go back to stock..

Man id just be happy to get into the 13's somewhere....:kick: But with all this talk im feeling.....inadequate !! :whip: Best i could hope for is that someone might mistake my car for Adrians !!
