  1. Bugger, just got word that dyno tune needs to be pushed back a day or two. Hopefully can still pick it up on Friday...
  2. EDIT: Seems to be a time limit on when I can edit my posts... For me it will be interesting to see how this compares with previous results of GT3071 with same turbine housing. It seems like GTX turbos flow about the same as next size up GTs, so GT3071 power with bit better response would be nice. Trying not to get my hopes up too much.
  3. Yes. Have Splitfires too. Damn it knew I forgot something good pick up Will be on pulp 98.
  4. So... Looks like this will be up and running soon. Booked in for tune on Wednesday (11th). Spec list as follows, will be interesting to see what it produces. 1994 S1 R33 ~165,000 kms, unopened engine Nistune ECU GTX3067 w/ 0.82 A/R Garrett internal gate housing Stock manifolds Pod filter - Alloy pipe intake Z32 AFM Blitz return flow FMIC Greddy Profec OLED boost controller Nismo 740cc injectors Walbro 465 pump 3" Custom stainless exhaust. Hopefully all the required supporting mods are there to let this turbo do its stuff. Shame I didn't end up getting the 0.63 A/R housing as first thought, but now interested to see what it will do with the 0.82.

  6. Not much clearance inside. I wouldn't recommend going higher offset. It does poke a little. But only just.
  7. I've got 18x10 +38 with 265s. Fits without drama with lipped guards. Should be pics a few pages back.
  8. Hi looking for a set of RB25 cam covers. Doesn't matter if painted or not, although prefer if not in any wrinkle paint. I'm located in Perth, but willing to pay for postage. Cheers, Mark.
  9. All the IDs are made by Bosch aren't they?
  10. Yeah internal gate. Trying to keep it relatively simple and stealthy. Also makes upgrade to GTX3071 easy later if I want to go the next step.
  11. I agree. Will talk to Galvsport about it, as he mentioned some issue about getting the right housing for this turbo hence the delay in starting the install. I'm not clear on what the issue was though.
  12. Brief update. Parts have all just about arrived and Galvsport are looking to start install on Monday. Parts invoice says it's the 0.82 housing though, which surprised me. At least it's the genuine Garrett one.
  13. Yep should be the 0.63 Garret housing. Asked for confirmation on that, but didn't hear back as yet... Have a Greddy Profec OLED controller going in. Hoping that will do the trick.
  14. Hasn't been much to report as of yet unfortunately. Apparently were some issues sourcing turbine housing, but turned up yesterday. I'm super keen to see how it goes as well. I promise I'll put up results for review even if it turns out crap.
  15. Just had a look on their website (radiumauto.com). USD$165 for the single universal as pictured above. 6 fl.oz capacity (175mL?). They like much better quality than most I've been looking at. I'm seriously tempted. Good find.
  16. Thanks. Do you know if studs will fit front or rear of R33? Front 14.3mm knurl Rear 13.0mm knurl I believe (according to GKTech site anyway)
  17. Interested in these. Couple of questions: - Are spacers hubcentric? - What are length of studs? - Stud knurl designed for skyline front or rear? Cheers.
  18. 18X10.5 +15 275/35R18 all around Spacers: Front: 20mm Rear: 26mm http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/1554283-post933.html
  19. ^ Agreed You can always change again without much hassle if you decide you don't like.
  20. I'm guessing because he's not sure if they'll work with a black car having not seen before. Aside from being able to test fit, it's not always easy to tell if it will look good. I thought it was a fair question. In my opinion (take it or leave it), white wheels work best on cars with solid colour (i.e. not metallic), black, white, or LM blue as on special edition R33 GTR. Google image search also helps.
  21. I've read about this big flap version of the housing elsewhere on here. Something about a -M on the part number or something, but everywhere else I've looked on the web I haven't been able to find any reference to it. Was starting to wonder if Garrett have just started offering the big wastegate flap version as standard. I'll post full specs when I get the dyno plot to put up.
  22. Talk so far with has only been about the 0.63AR IWG Garrett housing, so I'm assuming that will be the one, but I should double check. Fuel will be pump 98. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't quite excited about it. Not only my first major mod, but also something a bit different from the norm. Hopefully it comes up with the goods.
  23. Dropped the car off this morning. Confirmed GTX3067 is the go. Not sure how long it all will take. I'm sure the guys at Galvsport could smash out such a simple mod in no time, but they're pretty busy at the moment. Hoping towards end of the week.
  24. Yeah that's pretty much the range I'm hoping for. Fingers crossed.
  25. So I'm booked in to drop my car off at Galvsport on Monday (12th) for some work. Not 100% confirmed yet, but most likely will be going for the GTX3067. If it does go ahead, will see what this turbo can do on a stock RB25 on 98. And of course will post results when they come in.
