  3. thanks for that man. I was looking at it the other day thinking it would probably need to be cut. still trying to make time to fit this unfort. Think ill have to go with screws and tape because I will be too lazy to put it back on if something happens.

    Closing Down?

The whole stretch is far from the bussling car mecca I remember 5 years ago. I think car sales across the board are still on the decline/haven't recovered.
  5. +1 good service and really nice people. very happy
  6. < $700 pa with suncorp for me, with a payout of 20k (at time of purchase) if it's written off or stolen. I'm 27 I think it's silly not to have full comprehensive on a 34...
  7. Good idea for a thread. My love of the RB's originated with this prime example VL. Drove the old girl into the absolute ground. Sold it for $500 to some 17yo dreamer with grand plans; 450000k's on the clock, sill under the front drivers door, rear windscreen pillar and around the front windscreen seal was completely rusted out. If you tapped it hard enough you would nearly put your hand through it.....had some wicked times on the dirt road you can see in the background (and in the back seat)
  8. Man, I wouldn't even consider having less than comprehensive insurance. $700 a year for me
  9. sweet Charles, would appreciate it. Mark, my ride is more JDM than yours because it has a domo charm seriously though what is a parking antenna >.>
  10. My issue is more of a squeak when I go over anything steep, maybe just a buggered bush or something simple hopefully. I would say a thud or knock would be something more serious. off-topic slightly - how much did the 100k service set you back??
  11. Are they factory headlight washers?? looks good, can't wait to see how mine looks with the lip and freshly tinted windows
  12. Once the paint has cured properly you should be able to clean as normal
  13. wait...you put clear coat on?? looks good in any case, well done
  14. yeah that's what i'm saying, should have well and truly lost all sheen overnight Satin looks pretty sweet
  15. It should have lost its sheen overnight....assuming you bought matte paint
  16. why dont you just use wooden blocks or something similar to prop the car up? Thinking about doing this myself but seems like a fair bit of dicking around.
  17. They suit the front lip really well, very sharp
  18. I think I like it without, mainly because the colour isnt a perfect match
  19. wtb pics! hopefully be fitting mine this w.e if the rain holds off
  20. looking good Charles. I attempted de-badging mine on the weekend - ended up melting the paint with the hair drier Richie - I was looking at the z-tune skirts for my car, I think they would go with the front lip. Then again, I am going for the clean discrete look.
  21. All depends what features you need and how much you want to spend. Just installed a JVC double din with all the bells and whistles into my 34- very happy with it for the price.
  22. I know what i'll be doing this weekend! Thanks again Charles, would definitely be buying you a beer or 5 if you were in QLD
  23. So fking tough, gohan
  24. the mrs has one for her work car, slowest piece of shit on the road but it's amazing what you can fit in it
  25. Sounds good. May have something on the particular weekend you mentioned but would be keen for a meet up and counter lunch at some stage. Ideally somewhere with ample parking...
