I bought a bottle of meguirs plastx from super creep yesterday, give that a go? Claims to restore plastics such as headlight lenses... It was ok with removing the yellowing in my headlights but think I need to hit it with wet and dry 2000 first for better results

So there is no option to mount the tablet as a disk drive? cmonnnnnnnnnnn It runs on froyo which is the same platform as my phone. When I connect it to the pc I have the option to mount as disk/sync/modem tether etc... sapphire - all this new tech is a tad scary at times in that regard

I would love to see a neat fabricated mount with a hard wired charger/connection...like a dock

you are not going to get amazing results with nightshades, but it's definitely worth looking into as opposed to the $1000 alternative. check this out to get an idea of results.

yeah man super cheap/autobarn should all stock it or some variation. In my experience a light coat and some clear coat should give you the 'smoked effect'

I liked the part about no CD's the best. Couldn't find anything about bluetooth music streaming though? Think I will let you get yours and see the results anyway oh and terminator....epic movies (except T3 but it did have that blondie)

hey mate, thanks for the reply. I had a peep at JB/wow the other day and have pretty much ruled out nav lol. I was mislead, not knowing the 'Nav' option actually requires a heftily price external nav unit. Will definitely be getting a pro to install and still want my must haves (bluetooth, usb etc). I am located near twmba, but would travel to Bris for the right deal. Any recommendations for around $500? Will take some dash pics if needed, but its just the stock 98 R34 GTT dash with din pocket. ugh I thought razer were the tits until I went through two lycosa keyboards, two copperhead mice and currently onto my 2nd deathadder mouse. Deathadder is the comfiest most responsive mouse i've ever used but apart from that will never buy razer again. +1 to plantronics, had a pair of 777's that lasted me many hours of gaming through uni. if you want cheap and effective though, go creative fatality - good sound and mic for around $40

fair point. Is powdercoating more durable, as i've read that one stone chip with crack a large section. What would you recommend in terms of prepping/undercoating? have time off over easter so might get motivated and have a crack

Couldn't find a suitable thread for this, which was a bit surprising. So, I am sick of the single din sony rubbish in the line and am looking at a good double din screen to take its place. I guess minimum features would be; - DVD playback - Blutooth (for handsfree phone and streaming) - USB (preferably front mounted) - GOOD touch interface Optional - SD card - Navigation - min. 5V pre-out Looking in the price range of as cheap as possible atm. Have had my dash at big sound systems in my previous two cars.. Just out of interest has anyone painted the stock 6 spoke R34 GTT alloys? Was thinking about painting these black or charcoal to suit my silver 34. Is the general consensus that painting is better than powdercoating for wheels? what about for gutter rash? cheers
