You will have no problems stretching those tyres onto that size rim..........i have 255's stretched onto an 11" rim.

I am in no way concerned......as either way R32's plates are already available under SEVS. As far as my comment regarding SEVS is concered........i was simply wondering why everyone was asking about it, as this ruling will NOT effect vehicles currently available. Also......may i ask who "WE" is? ie: WE know the right people..WE were in the right place etc. I am not trying to start a shitfight at all, i simply find it odd that this information has been released to certain people prior to an "official" announcement.

Unfortunately there is of course an inherant risk involved with importing, it is for this very reason that impoting is not for everyone. Not everyone is happy to purchase with only a description and a few pictures. If you are extremely concerned about this then i suggest you have a look around locally in dealers yards and privately, this will allow you to touch/drive the vehicle and have it checked out by your family mechanic. You may well pay a tad more by purchasing locally, but if you feel more comfortable doing so then it is money well spent.

I have to ask..........where did you get this information from? Why were you the "chosen one" to be privy to such information? I have as yet not been sent any correspondance from Dotars etc. When i do i am sure it will be more clearly stated. There also seems to be alot of talk about later model SEVS vehicles in this thread.......the vehicles currently on the SEVS list will NOT be removed etc. At least not until the goverment can devise a way to eliminate importation of motor vehicles entirely. End rant

I have been informed that optimax is no longer guaranteed 98ron, untimate still is.........hence i only ever run ultimate in my vehicles. My tuner told me to only run ultimate, as he has seen increased numbers from one type to the other of up to 12hp. That coupled with the smaller chance of detonation............ULTIMATE all the way.

I am not after massive figures out of this turbo.........i am simply wanting to verify which series of turbo this is. I aM NOT AFTER THE A/R specs etc.........just want the numbers that are embossed on the comp. housing to figure out the difference. Thanks.

I have not heard any horror stories about them, but i think you will find that sourcing the parts yourself will save you some money, as Fabtech generally just buy from others and put a mark up on it..........race seats etc are readily available so it may be worth speaking to several people. They also only MAKE commodore kits, all the rest are outsourced. Just thought i would let you know, money in your pocket is always nice.

That seems like a pretty good time on a Gtech...........do they supply you with a 0-100 time when on the strip?

I am after all of the different part numbers ie: the numbers written on the comp. housing of standard RB25det turbos. I am aware that there are at least 2 different typres (series 1 and 2) I have done a search but to no avail. Thanks for your help.

The high mount brake lights are only required for vehicles manufactured from July onwards. Or maybe september, not 100% sure. I would imagine you COULD fit a cheap one and remove it afterwards. However there is always the POSSIBILITY that an officer will be aware of the rulling and fine you for it.

I am trying to decifer the best type of tyre......They are to be fitted to my drift PIG......The rim size is 15 x 8.5. I am after something with strong sidewalls to minimise flex and extreme grip. I am not concerned about tyre wear etc. I will be running a few dgrees camber (that will kill them quick smart) They are only for the front. What are your experiences? I have read decent things about TOYO Proxes RA1........and a friend has has Falken AZENIS streets and swears by them. Anyone had any of these? Thanks

O would not see any issues fitting the R33 brakes behind your 16" rims........R33's came stock with 16's, depending on the offset of your P1's you may require small spacers, simple fix. If you do go ahead with this i would be interested in purchasing your R32 discs and calipers. Cheers

I would suggest sticking with the 2530 for drift applications..........I have an RB20 fitted with an HKS 2530 with PFC etc etc.........Making 280rwhp no probs and peak power is about the 5500 rpm mark. Perfect for sliding

Basically the swap consists of everything if FRONT of the doors......guards/bonnet/headlights/grill/bumper etc etc

I would consider swapping the front end from my white cefiro...........but are they the same paint code? from memory the laurels don't have the coloured pearls in the factory paint whereas the cefiros do. You would need to do paint so they matched properly.

Might be interested..........what are the differences between coupe and sedan trim? I am located on the GC also....nice and easy for pick up.
