I spoke to a friend based in Nagoya this morning, he mentioned they have had bad weather there........he actually called it a Typhoon. His area was not hit to badly......... Has anyone here been affected badly by this? Hope all is well

I have seen a few cars on the coast with stickers 038Powerz I have been told that the numbers mean "masaya" (sp?) eg: 0 = ma 3 = sa 8 = ya Is that true........? You should be able to change them over, however you will need a few parts off a coupe. eg: bootlid, lights, and rear bar. To be honest i quite like the look of the sedan tailights........something a little different

Could someone please tell me what the character on the left of the numbers on Japanese rego plates mean? I understand that the characters at the top of the plate denote the prefecture, I am simply curious what the single one means. Thanks ps. There would be no problem registering it.......mine has larger flares with more dish and no problems (been pulled over, no fines)........unfortunately whilst the vehicle has not been street driven, the flares have cracked.........looks PHAT as though...and CHEEEEEEP

I have had the hose replaced on TWO cefiros (non hicas) it is a common thing. They need to put in an olive join as it is a single pipe all the way to the rack. ENZED made up a NEW hose AND fitted it for $160. (one hose only) should be around 300 for both. Hope that helps.

I don't think there is any need to specifically steer clear of that importer........if he did NOT tell you about the new quarter panel then fair enough, but at least he was honest. As far as "stock" is concerned.......that is the only way you will get a car direct from japan these days under SEVS.

Yeah but for the price of a "hybrid" "kit" you could get the hybrid cooler and have stainless plumbing fitted. I know what i would be going for.

Go and see Ben at "ultimate Performance" in Nerang on the Gold Coast. He is well priced for polished stainless cooler piping. He is about $250 under other workshops i spoke to. The prices i got for with the cooler fitted so all they had to do was the piping. Fitting the cooler itself is easy as pie. I do suggest if you do it yourself........cut some cardboard the same size as the CORE of your cooler and tape it to it, that way you won't bend any fins during the install.

I have a cefiro passenger seat with rail you can have for free, just pay for the postage. Not sure that will help you but thought i would offer.

Really? I once tried to place a factory S13 seat into one of mine and 1 bolt hole did not line up.

They are definately the same seat bolt pattern as R32/33. I have interchanged seats several times. Most recently placed a R32 seat into the Pass side of my cefiro using the rails on the R32 seat.

The chrome grill is from the later model A31, They seem to sought after in Japan, similar to the late model tail lights, they all want them also. I am half way there.......got the grill, but still early tailights. Daveo.........thats what your car could look like with a mild kit and some DISH

Mine doesn't do it but all the others i have had did. It definately has something to do with the ECU as mine has Power FC and it seems to have disabled it. If you happen to find out how to disable that AND the speed chime let me know, i have customers asking me, i have found no info on it. Good luck
