WTB: Coil Pack x 1 - RB20
RiverSide replied to Ceffo's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I assume this is for an A31 cefiro? I have one available.......it is from a cefiro too NB: Cefiro/laurel coilpacks have different plugs to R32 items. So unless you want to "hard wire" your coilpacks in then find a cefiro/laurel pack. Give me a call on 0402 807 417 if interested. -
What type of car is it for? eg: an R33 diff won't fit into an R32/cefiro/laurel etc. Are you after a standard type diff or a mech diff? I may have a 2 way available shortly.

I see you have edited your first post.....no probs, mine are off gtst anyway. good luck finding what you need

Repco (in QLD) have them..........i am sure one of the stored will be able to get them in for you if they do not have them in stock.

This is for a cefiro? Does it still have the original coil pack and ignitor fitted? The cefiro/Laurel coil packs/harness is slightly different to the R32 type. (just the plugs) If you are unable to find any cefiro/laurel coil packs locally and resort to R32 items it is quite simple to "hard wire" them in. From memory i have a coil pack for cefiro here somewhere.......what is it worth?

A31 Cefiro Parts
RiverSide replied to r33skyline's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I am after a Clutch pedal for a friends cefiro.........what do you want for it?..how quickly could it be delivered? -
I would suggest the R32/300zx brake upgrade for the front........in which case you can either change the hubs to obtain the 5 studs OR have the new R32/300zx discs re-drilled to 4 stud to maintain your current stud pattern and wheels. (note wheel offset may be an issue with the arger calipers, bolt on spacers sort that issue out though)

That right......I have to agree with the comments made above.

Jaycar Boost and Fuel Control
RiverSide replied to Sydneykid's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
This may sounda bit silly.......but does everyone understand what is being said? All this seems a bit "over my head" to be honest. That puts me in a predicament as i am very keen on the boost control unit but am baffled as to how I could possibly make it work. I apologise i have entered the world of stagea....lol as i do not own one but i would really like to fit one to my RB20det. If you happen to find the time sydneykid.......do you think you could possibly send me an email with a short "guide for dummies".......or even just let me know if someone with VERY limited electronics experience would be able to complete such a project? Cheers Riverside -
Russgtr........I have awesome wheels on my car and definately do not want to lose them so when i upgrade my brakes i plan to use R32 or 300zx discs and calipers but have them re-drilled (properly) back to 4 stud.....this process uses one of the original holes. You may however need to fit spacers for your wheels to clear the calipers. My wheels already require that due to the crazy offset. PS the diameter of the R32/300zx discs is the same as the factory cefiro discs but they are thicker, therefore 4 piston calipers can NOT be used on your factory discs.

replating cars
RiverSide replied to tridentt150v's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
he says just attach the compliance plate......... funny that the VIN number on the plate will be totally different to the one on the firewall. I would stay the hell away from that sort of dodgy stuff. -
I have proper cefiro strut braces (fronts) available....... They do not rub like i have seen S13 items do. Let me know if interested.

ATTN anyone who's fixed power steering
RiverSide replied to Mr Eps's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
They are quite simple really.......provided you are only fixing the pump itself. If it is the hose going from the pump to the steering rack I would suggest driving the car down to enzed. That way they can cut and olive joint the piping. If you are concerned about running with low fluid levels just remove the belt before you drive the car........it will make the steering quite heavy but will save you doing further damage to your pump. If any of that does not make sense just throw me a PM and explain exactly what you need to do and i should be able to give you step by step instructions. Cheers -

Why brokers?
RiverSide replied to noise's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
whoops....i actually thought you meant Customs brokers. As far as finding a buyer in japan is concerned.......just keep in mind that you will probably be a once off customer......and you are going to send your hard earned money to someone that quite possibly speaks very little english...lives half way around the world and all this without a reference from someone in the industry? I trust my buyer totally.......if i did not i would not be doing business with him. Without trust and honesty........you really are taking a risk. For all you know the guy you send you money too might not even be an exporter. -
how much for transfer
RiverSide replied to [D]RiFT^[R]'s topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
you are required to dclare the market value....(the price the vehicle would sell for in todays market).......if you declare too low it would be fraudulent. Plenty of people do it though........but be reasonable.........5k for a GTR aint gonna happen for example.
