Yeah.. no one could really tune the Power FC.. well.. very few anyway.

I had an excellent day.. Thanks to Oz for orignally organising it and all those invovled to make the day it was. Well worth it, pity mine was cut short. I was happy with my laps until Bonks jumped in my car. A round with him and it definately saw me cutting off some seconds. My grin could just not stop going bigger and bigger. Thanks Bonkers. Next time round, i'm definately asking Bonks to take me for a spin.. Manajal was just as glad to help out. If your on the track, just look the for the grey skyline overtaking everyone and you will know it's one of these guys! Thanks to all who offered assistance and helped out. I saw something simular to this on a red Gtst at the E.C trackday in May.. He was cruising around with Prank, maybe he might know.

How do you know when you hit the boost limiter without looking at the boost gauge?

Is this due to it being too hot and you need colder plugs?

and if you have a pod filter u should be careful and cover the air filter also.. U wouldnt want water in your intake....

Fluttering noise = BOV tight = to hold high boost = releasing at low rpm. This is air being "chop" by the turbo impellors and sound coming back through the air filter. If there's no air filter it will be more likely be louder because the sound doesn't have to travel through the piping and filter element. Psshh = BOV = as we all know Wastegate = release excess pressure produced by BIG turbo. eg. set to it to 18psi and the more pressure produced by this will be bleed through here. If your all still in doubt, do this. Get an aftermarket vent BOV or someone with one. Get them to tighten it all the way and tell them to take you for a spin. Remember how many turns u do so you know how much to wind it back afterwards. If your down my way, i'll be happy to show you the difference. Mine at low rpm doesn't have enough pressure to push the spring in the BOV to make the psshhh... so it has no other option but to go backwards hence makes the fluttering noise. When enough boost is made, it goes psssh... to make the pshhh... s

Thats bad... that means the shop can if they didn't care leave the car on the street infront of their shop with your keys in it for someone to steal!

I've actually seen two different types. 1) Comes up through the rear parcel shelf 2) Boot type (I think series 2 have these) Which one is it?

Maxed out to speed limiter in Sky, pain in the backside when u start dragging at 150 and both have exactly the same engine mods.

Parking in any carpack is unsafe. I'd usually not drive to places like that. I guess after what By By said I won't drive it there again... But then where do I get to drive my car... dammit....
